Obama Violated The Constitution With Liberal Recess Appointments

He'll do anything to get his white, anti-God, social liberal agenda passed, including breaking the oath that him swear to uphold and protect the Constitution:
President Barack Obama violated the Constitution when he bypassed the Senate last year to appoint three members of the National Labor Relations Board, a federal appeals court ruled Friday in a far-reaching decision that could severely limit a chief executive's powers to make recess appointments.

The decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit marked a victory for Republicans and business groups critical of the labor board. If it stands, it could invalidate hundreds of board decisions over the past year, including some that make it easier for unions to organize.

When Obama filled the vacancies on Jan. 4, 2012, Congress was on an extended holiday break. But GOP lawmakers gaveled in for a few minutes every three days just to prevent Obama from making recess appointments. The White House argued that the pro forma sessions — some lasting less than a minute — were a sham.

The court rejected that argument, but went even further, finding that under the Constitution, a recess occurs only during the breaks between formal year-long sessions of Congress, not just any informal break when lawmakers leave town. It also held that presidents can bypass the Senate only when administration vacancies occur during a recess.

White House press secretary Jay Carney said the administration strongly disagrees with the decision and that the labor board would continue to conduct business as usual, despite calls by some Republicans for the board members to resign.

"The decision is novel and unprecedented," Carney said. "It contradicts 150 years of practice by Democratic and Republican administrations."

Under the court's decision, 285 recess appointments made by presidents between 1867 and 2004 would be invalid.

The Justice Department hinted that the administration would ask the Supreme Court to overturn the decision, which was rendered by three conservative judges appointed by Republican presidents. "We disagree with the court's ruling and believe that the president's recess appointments are constitutionally sound," the statement said.

Rand Paul Brutalizes Hillary Clinton: ‘Had I Been President’ I Would Have Fired You

Mediaite.com:
During Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Congressional testimony regarding what she knew about the attack on an American consulate in Benghazi last year, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) took the opportunity of his question to bluntly attack Clinton’s negligence in the months preceding the attack. Paul thanked Clinton for taking culpability for “the worst tragedy since 9/11,” but noted that, if he had been President of the United States at the time of the attack and had learned that Clinton failed to read some key diplomatic cables before that event, he would have relieved her of her post.

Paul’s opening statement prior to his question for Sec. Clinton consisted of a savage rebuke of her leadership of the State Department leading up to the attack in Benghazi:
One of the things that disappointed me most about the original 9/11 is that no one was fired. We spent trillions of dollars, but there were a lot of human errors. These are judgment errors and the people who make judgment errors need to be replaced, fired, and no longer in the position of making these judgment calls.
So, we have a review board – review board finds 64 different things that we can change. A lot of them are common sense and should be done, but the question is it’s a failure of leadership that they weren’t done in advance. And four lives were cost because of this.
I’m glad that you’re accepting responsibility. I think that, ultimately, with your leaving, you accept the culpability for the worst tragedy since 9/11. And I really mean that.
Had I been president at the time, and I found that you did not read the cables from Benghazi, you did not read the cables from Ambassador [Chris] Stevens, I would have relieved you of your post. I think it’s inexcusable.
“Not to know of the request for securities, really, I think, cost these people their lives,” he added. “Their lives could have been saved had someone been more available. Had someone been aware of these things – more on top of the job.”

“I think it’s good that you’re accepting responsibility, because no one else is,” Paul concluded. “There is a certain amount of culpability to the worst tragedy since 9/11, and I’m glad you’re accepting this.”

Paul went on to ask Clinton what she knew about possible shipments of weapons from Libya to Turkey and if the United States was involved in that transfer. Clinton appeared perplexed by the question. She said that she had no knowledge of any weapons transfers from Libya to Turkey, let alone any U.S. involvement in such a transfer.

Military To Open Combat Jobs To Women

For a guy who never served a day in the military Barack Obama sure will be leaving his mark on it. First, the end of DADT and now women being allowed to serve in combat? I'm actually with the idea...if they're qualified and what with us long having female police officers and what have you, it's probably long overdue anyway, plus it's only fair, right?
The U.S. military is ending its policy of excluding women from combat and will open combat jobs and direct combat units to female troops, multiple officials told CNN on Wednesday.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta will make the announcement Thursday and notify Congress of the planned change in policy, the officials said.

"We will eliminate the policy of 'no women in units that are tasked with direct combat,'" a senior defense official said.

The officials cautioned, however, that "not every position will open all at once on Thursday." Once the policy is changed, the Department of Defense will enter what is being called an "assessment phase," in which each branch of service will examine all its jobs and units not currently integrated and then produce a timetable for integrating them.

The Army and Marine Corps, especially, will be examining physical standards and gender-neutral accommodations within combat units. Every 90 days, the service chiefs will have to report on their progress.

The move will be one of the last significant policy decisions made by Panetta, who is expected to leave in mid-February. It is not clear where former Sen. Chuck Hagel, the nominated replacement, stands, but officials say he has been apprised of Panetta's coming announcement.

"It will take a while to work out the mechanics in some cases. We expect some jobs to open quickly, by the end of this year. Others, like special operations forces and infantry, may take longer," a senior defense official explained. Panetta is setting the goal of January 2016 for all assessments to be complete and women to be integrated as much as possible.

With Barack Obama In Charge We Can Look Forward To Four More Lost Years of Empty, Clueless Rhetoric

Townhall.com:
WASHINGTON - If you thought President Obama's first term was one long, uninterrupted political brawl, the next four years will make that period look tame by comparison.

If you need any evidence for this prediction, Obama's in-your-face, second inaugural address is Exhibit A. It was a speech tailored to make the hearts of liberal Democrats beat faster, cheering what some in the Washington news media called "Obama unbound."

It was a speech that sent an unmistakable message to his party's base that this time around, it's no more Mr. Nice Guy. The gloves are off, these are my issues, and it's time to pass the rest of my liberal agenda.

His second inaugural sounded more like a State of the Union address filled to the brim with a bigger government shopping list -- one in which he showed himself to be the liberal leader "that many liberals thought they were getting when the voted him into office four years ago" writes Washington Post political analyst Chris Cillizza.

"This was Obama unbound. Distill Obama's speech to a single sentence and that sentence is: 'I'm the president, deal with it."

Yes, his remarks were wrapped up in soothing rhetoric about Americans coming together, and it paid lip service to dealing with the monstrous deficits and debt. But this was at its heart a combative declaration for a big spending, big borrowing government, armed with a few nasty salvoes aimed at his Republican opponents in the Capitol behind him.

Incredibly, Obama did not deal with the biggest failure of his presidency: a persistently weak, slowing economy that top economic forecasters say was barely growing by 1 percent in the past three months.

Indeed, there was only a passing, empty reference to a recovering economy that remains chronically sluggish and job-challenged. But no calls for stronger economic growth, new job creation and critically needed venture capital investment that plummeted by 10 percent last year.

No fiscal issue is more critical than soaring entitlements that account for a large share of the nation's trillion dollar a year deficits. But aside from some duct tape fixes around the edges, Obama says he will fight any serious reforms to preserve these safety net programs for future generations.

"The commitments we make to each other -- through Medicare, and Medicaid, and Social Security -- these things do not sap our initiative. They strengthen us. They do not make us a nation of takers; they free us to take the risks that make this country great."

Rush Limbaugh Rips Media ‘Groupies’ Fawning Over Obama: ‘Happiest They Have Been In Recorded History’

Mediaite.com:
Rush Limbaugh was all caught up on the weekend’s inaugural festivities on Tuesday — and the media’s “fawning” coverage of the event left a bad taste in his mouth. Taking aim at the media, Limbaugh said there’s no longer even a pretense of objectivity.

Even some conservatives, he said, were saying President Obama‘s not really such a bad guy — not a socialist or Marxist, but just “a Chicago thug.” Limbaugh wasn’t pleased: “It became clear, folks, that you and I, who are conservatives, we’re becoming more and more marginalized and isolated on a little island here, and it’s very small.”

People “are jumping off our own ship” left and right.

But he digressed, moving on to the media’s “fawning over Obama” during the inauguration, which, Limbaugh asserted, demonstrated that there’s “no pretense that these people are journalists anymore.” CNN, he cited specifically, taking a jab at, among others, Al Roker, who “practically messed in his pants again.”

“It is unlike anything I have ever seen,” Limbaugh said. One step farther is CBS political director/Slate correspondent John Dickerson, who recently penned a Slate piece arguing Obama should “declare war” on the GOP. I warned you, Limbaugh said, that the top priority on the agenda would be destroying the Republican Party.

Running through some clips, he was taken aback by how excited media “groupies” were to be in the president’s presence. “I think this is the happiest they have been in recorded history,” he asserted. “Certainly in the modern era. Certainly they are happier than the first time around in 2008.”

“I don’t feel that way about anybody,” he added. “There’s not a human being I could get close to that I would go ga-ga for. Other than me.”

About Obama, Limbaugh concluded, “We are dealing here with a cult figure.”

Angry Black Woman Michelle Obama Rolls Her Eyes At John Boehner

It's not even about this being a "real moment", it's the fact that because Michelle Obama is nothing but a puppet for the white, social liberal agenda, the superficially-obsessed Left love to grace her with words like "classy" and "graceful" while obsessing over her fashion choices. But underneath it all Michelle Obama is a hoodrat and an angry, black woman who has openly expressed her disdain for politics and having to put up with being POTUS' sidekick. Conservatives know this all too well and now it's there (again) for all the world to see that this woman is a disgrace:
It was the body language heard around the world.

First lady Michelle Obama was captured on video rolling her eyes twice in response to something House Speaker John Boehner said to her husband at the president’s Inauguration Day luncheon in the Capitol Building on Monday.
While the substance of Boehner’s comments has not been revealed and cannot be heard in the clip, the first lady’s response to them has become the subject of intense fascination since Tumblr blogger Mattyrab first posted the video.
The soured relationship between the President and the speaker has received ample scrutiny, especially in light of the partisan standoffs over the fiscal cliff and the debt ceiling, but before today little had been written on how the first lady and Boehner viewed each other.
As yet, neither the White House nor the speaker’s office has commented on what Boehner and the President had been discussing or why it elicited such a marked response from the first lady.
Whatever the divergence of opinion, there was something that Boehner and the first lady agreed upon, however.

"Michelle and the speaker of the House came to a meeting of the minds that I may be delaying the proceedings too much," Obama told the audience. "And so I'm just going to be extraordinarily brief and say thank you."
