After R&B crooner Chris Brown made an appearance in front of a reported 18,000 fans on NBC morning program The Today show as part of its Summer Concert Series this past Friday (July 15), rival network FOX News was critical of the station and singer based on Brown’s 2009 domestic dispute with then-girlfriend pop songstress Rihanna.Conservatives are well aware that black liberals will believe anything they see and read from the mostly white and Leftist, lamestream press. And as they're want to do Black liberals will also support Democrats politicians regardless of the fact that they take them for granted or that over the years liberal theology (i.e. socialism or "blame the man") has only made life worse for Blacks as a whole.
Over the weekend, FOX host Laura Ingraham in a clip offered quips on Brown’s turbulent past and saying that Americans were “disgusted” by his actions while criticizing his top billing on morning show's stages. Chris Brown tweeted angrily in response to the report over the weekend.
“People really should grow up sometimes! I guess the next story they make up will say "chris brown paid the fans to come! #stopit5 hahaha..,” tweeted Brown on Saturday (July 16). He followed up that post with, “Running bogus and pointless stories don't matter! My fans prove that everyday and the haters just look old as F**k !”
Brown fired off a few more tweets before thanking his followers on Twitter for supporting him and giving a shout out to his “Team Breezy” fans. It now appears that 50 Cent is also part of the team as well after firing off a supportive tweet of his own late Sunday evening.
“I just saw a clip on FOX news Hating on NBC for having chris brown on unbelievable. I'm never watching that again. He paid for his mistake #!@%*# holes,” tweeted 50 Cent. Brown responded to 50 a bit later with, “don't worry bro.. They mad because of the level of real people who live in this world. Not to mention their ratings probably sucked.”
Neither star has addressed FOX News since last night regarding the airing of the clip.
Now conservative pundit Laura Ingraham does a report on why NBC would allow noted woman-beater and misogynist Chris Brown to perform on "The Today Show" and Brown and black liberals are angry at Ingraham for "not letting it go".
Of course, some of this reaction to Ingraham comes from black liberals having long been trained by the white, mainstream press to hate FOX News. But as the FOX story notes, some of it also comes from sheer and utter devotion to Brown, regardless of the fact that he beat up a famous black woman senseless and seemingly remains clueless about the ramifications of such actions judging from a handful of frightful incidents that've happened since he beat Rihanna to a pulp. Yet somehow, it's Ingraham who is the bad guy here for coming down hard on a woman beater.

ReplyDelete"Conservatives are well aware that black liberals will believe anything they see and read from the mostly white and Leftist, lamestream press."
Your link is to CNN. Let's clear the air: What empirical evidence have you, other than anecdotal, to support the aforementioned statement?
If you knew me, you'd probably say that I'm far-Left of center. And too, I'm black. Yet, your premise doesn't bear out your conclusion. I believe very little of what I read or hear from any news source--not CNN, not MSNBC, and not Fox News.
And, I don't believe that I'm atypical. The news media is vested in advancing an agenda that supports and maintains the status quo--that is, dividing the country along racial, social, and political lines, and keeping the populace distracted sufficiently, so that it can take of advantage of the ensuing chaos.
"Black liberals will also support Democrats politicians regardless of the fact that they take them for granted or that over the years liberal theology (i.e. socialism or "blame the man") has only made life worse for Blacks as a whole."
When you say that you're a Democrat, that statement is made tongue-in-cheek right?
Republicans would never take blacks for "granted!" Is that your position?
If by "liberal theology," you mean welfare, and scapegoating whites for a lack of black economic progress, as causal for some of the grim conditions we see in urban America, then your view of the problem is too simplistic.
The problem is multifaceted, and multigenerational.
In the forties, the fifties, and the sixties, black opportunity for college graduates, unless they were professionals serving the black community in that capacity--doctors, lawyers, dentists, undertakers, teachers, pastors, or what have you--were limited to work that didn't optimize their skills or their education.
These workers were underemployed. Many worked in offices as clerks or as secretaries.
"Of course, some of this reaction to Ingraham comes from black liberals having long been trained by the white, mainstream press to hate FOX News."
What an unfortunate use of the word "trained." Blacks aren't "trained" monkeys on a leash, doffing their hats to collect the evening news, as a monkey would to collect a handful of nickles and dimes.
Give "black liberals" credit for making up their own minds, for assessing the journalistic integrity, and journalistic accuracy of Fox New--and, as a result of that assessment, rejecting its content, because it didn't measure up to their scrupulous standards.
Frankly, Fox News, if blacks became disaffected with it, is the one responsible for that disaffection.

ReplyDelete"But as the FOX story notes, some of it also comes from sheer and utter devotion to Brown, regardless of the fact that he beat up a famous black woman...."
Just as conservatives cringe when blacks play the "race card," it would be just as advisable not to play the "liberal media card" to explain black behavior toward Fox News.
Fans of Brown, once outraged by his attack on Rihanna, may have forgiven him. But to call these fans "liberals," or even all "black," may be playing fast and loose with the facts?
Have Brown no white fans? No conservative fans? Are only "black conservatives" still angry over Brown's use of violence against a black woman?
"Yet somehow, it's Ingraham who is the bad guy here for coming down hard on a woman beater."
As someone who's far, far Left of center, I wouldn't say that Ingraham is the "bad guy," but in my customary way of questioning motives, I wonder why she, and Fox News, have made this a cause célèbre.
I take you at your word, that you're a "lover of God." For if you love Him, it follows that you love those whom He has made--the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
As I stated before, the news media, and the media generally are mostly a distraction machine, well-oiled, and fine-tuned to sow the seeds of division among the various segments of society.
They use politics (because it's the Great Divider), class, and social issues to keep us angry, and motivated to see division, rather than cohesion.
We are willing dupes, and that willingness has its origin in our biases and our bigotry.
Conservative Black Woman has awakened to how the game is "rigged," and how we're all being used. Here's what she now says about herself, after staunchly following, and toeing the political line of Republicanism:
"Don't let the title of this blog deceive you. Yes, I'm a Conservative Black Woman -- Not to be confused with Republican Black Woman. At this point I am in fact a Political Atheist. I believe with every fiber of my being that America is no longer a Constitutional Republic but rather a Corporate Fascist Oligarchy. Our Presidents are just the puppets, tools, spokespersons for the Powers that Be...Council of Foreign Relations and various other NGO's who are beholden to the International Banking Cabal."
Perhaps you can talk some sense into her! http://conservativeblkwoman.blogspot.com/

ReplyDeleteMost black Americans are liberal and most of Brown's fans are women--domestic violence has long been accepted in the Black community and in the case of Brown, as most of his fans are black women, the continued support for him proves such.
I dont have to prove or anyone else that I'm a Democrat. Liberals like yourself live in a 'black or white' mindset where there's little to nothing in-between. So i can understand how it is you cant fathom a conservative Democrat--you've been taught well by the white, mainstream press that we don't (or shouldn't) exist.
Lastly, no I'm not going to "give credit" to black liberals for making up their own minds because y'all dont. Facts remain that things in the Black community have worsened tremendously since Barry took office, yet all you black liberals will still come out and vote for a man who has literally ignored you for 2 1/2 years in '12 anyway--thats not thinking for yourselves, that's indoctrination.
"Liberals like yourself live in a 'black or white' mindset where there's little to nothing in-between."
ReplyDeleteNow, that wasn't very kind. What if I phrased it this way: "Conservatives like yourself live in a 'black or white' mindset where there's little to nothing in between."
See what I mean? It presumes knowledge of me that you're not privy to, as it would have been, had I made that statement in reference to your "mindset."
"Most black Americans are liberal and most of Brown's fans are women--domestic violence has long been accepted in the Black community...."
True, blacks are mainly liberal, and I would suppose that many of Brown's fans are women, but that's as far as one can speculate. To say, or even to imply, that "domestic violence has long been accepted in the black community," I'll have to ask you to support that claim with something more substantive than anecdotal evidence.
Is there a study to support your conclusion?
"Barry took office, yet all you black liberals will still come out and vote for a man who has literally ignored you for 2 1/2 years in '12 anyway--thats not thinking for yourselves, that's indoctrination."
As a Democrat, aren't you going to support your party's choice?
You say that President Obama has ignored blacks during his tenure. Black Farmers received their much anticipated settlement, http://www.chicagodefender.com/article-9708-black-farmers-finally-get-justice.html, and aid went to HBCU's, if Republicans don't defund such aid:
"Obama noted that the federal government is slated to spend $850 million in aid to historically black colleges over the next decade.
"In February, the president signed an executive order establishing an initiative designed, among other things, to boost the participation of traditionally black colleges and universities in a variety of federal programs. It also aims to strengthen various public-private partnerships at those institutions." http://newsone.com/nation/casey-gane-mccalla/obama-calls-for-the-strengthening-of-hbcus/
There's more, but you can find it for yourself, provided you wish the facts, and not the fiction that allows you to reinforce what you want to be true.
I credit all people for "making up their own minds," as no one else can do it for them. In so doing, they may be swayed by those they trust, or by those who exercise undue influence, but, in the end, they must do it for themselves.
You're forgetting: Blacks have always been "ignored;" so to be ignored is nothing new. Were it not that we held their feet to the fire, all presidents, whether Democrat or Republican, would have ignored us.
We made gains, because stalwarts like Martin Luther King, and Ralph Abernathy, and a host of other civil right's leaders, Rosa Parks, et al, challenged the status quo, and not because we suddenly saw white conscience stricken, and a cry go up for social justice for blacks.
I would never accuse another of not "thinking for [themselves]." Because we may not be in agreement, is not to say that another is thinking for us.
Here's what "indoctrinates," not the efforts of others, but our biases, and bigotries, and unexamined value system.
I enjoyed our little chat, and may return again, but under one proviso, that civility prevails. It's not that I need civility, but that it assures a harmonious milieu in which a discussion can thrive, and advance.
I ask it for you, not for me.
