Hillary Clinton Tells Ecuador TV Station That Obama Will Sue Arizona Illegal Immigration Law
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Thursday she's angry over comments by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that the Obama administration will sue the state over its new immigration law.
In a June 8 media interview in Ecuador that began circulating Thursday in the U.S., Clinton said President Barack Obama thinks the federal government should determine immigration policy and that the Justice Department "will be bringing a lawsuit against the act."
Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler on Thursday declined to say whether the department would sue and that "the department continues to review the law."
The department has been looking at the law for weeks for possible civil rights violations, with an eye toward a possible court challenge.
It's unclear why Clinton made the comment since it's not her area. She couldn't be reached Thursday for comment.
Yes, that's where the irony begins: why would Billary overstep her bounds and make an announcement like this (to a foreign media outlet no less) when Barry just told Jan Brewer to her face that he'd leave it to Eric Holder and the DOJ to decide whether or not to sue Arizona's SB1070 law? Then too what business is it for the Secretary of State to get involved here, like she doesn't have enough international matters to concern herself with?
Could Billary be trying to undermine The One, esp. while his poll numbers hit record lows thanks in part to his inept handling of the BP mess? Brewer has every right to be pissed considering she just met with Barry face-to-face 2 weeks ago, but one would think that even if Billary was getting pressure from her idiot camp to cripple Barry at his weakest and possibly position herself for a run in 2012, she'd be smart enough to know that it makes her look bad, esp. to many the Barry worshippers still out there. But then when it comes to Billary, I wouldn't put anything pass her.

Ann Coulter: Far-Left Believes In Obama Like Children Believe In The Tooth Fairy
Of the many outcomes from President Barack Obama’s Oval Office speech and action to solve the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, Bill O’Reilly invited Ann Coulter on the Factor tonight to help explain the one he saw most socially impacting: the repeated jabs on the president from Daily Show host Jon Stewart. Coulter’s explanation? Liberals are angry because Obama was their “Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus,” and now they’ve been told that he’s merely human.
“Reality betrays children constantly,” she argued, and, as children, liberals feel “betrayed.” “The main thing,” she argued, “is that liberals are like children and they believed in Obama the way children believed in the Tooth Fairy or Santa Klaus and he can’t stop this spill, and they are enraged.”

Lesbian Corrections Officer Goes On Shooting Spree, Kills Ex-Lover & Grandfather
Thanks to the warped views of radical feminism, more and more women are entering into same-sex relationships and with that comes consequences like this where more women are committing crimes normally associated with men:
The Long Island correction officer accused of murdering her former flame and uncle in a violent rampage sobbed Thursday before she was ordered held without bail.
Kim Wolfe, 43, kept her head down, but could be heard crying, as she was led out of Nassau County Police Headquarters in Mineola.
At her tightly-guarded arraignment about an hour later, Wolfe did not enter a plea to murder, kidnapping and assault charges.
The Nassau County correction officer remained in a holding pen behind frosted glass. Her lawyer, Fred Annibale, had no comment.
Wolfe went on a murderous spree Wednesday, fatally shooting ex-girlfriend Stacie Williams, 45, before returning to her family's home in Hempstead and opening fire on her relatives, cops say.
Wolfe allegedly pumped several bullets into Williams, a nurse's aid, outside of Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow about 1:35 a.m., after dropping off a McDonald's sandwich and fries, cops say.
Police say Wolfe then sped to Hempstead, gunned down Michael Williams, 56, and shot her 88-year-old grandfather Marshall Williams in the leg.
His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Wolfe took one of her nieces hostage and led cops on a hours-long search that ended when she was pulled over by officers about 5:45 a.m., police say.
Investigators believe that Wolfe's shooting spree was triggered by an acrimonious split with her ex - and a dispute over insurance money with her relatives.

Most Americans Support Arizona Immigration Law (SB1070)
To think our immigration laws are way less strict than Mexico's. It's not racism, it's about putting your country first.A new Washington Post/ABC poll finds that 58 percent of Americans support Arizona's tough new immigration law. Support is strongest among Republicans and independents, and least strong among Democrats, especially minority Democrats.
Still, the support is qualified in some respects. Even as a majority of Americans back the measure — which gives law enforcement officers authority to check the immigration status of people they have stopped or arrested — 57 percent of Americans also favor giving illegal immigrants who are already in the country a chance to become legal, if they pay fines and meet other requirements. Almost half of Republicans polled also support the path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

Democrats Push To Defeat Alvin Greene
As Democrats in South Carolina face the uncomfortable prospect of having unemployed political novice Alvin Greene as their Senate nominee in November, some in the party have launched an effort to put a more polished candidate on the ballot as an independent.
Allies of former congressional candidate Linda Ketner, who came within four points of unseating Rep. Henry Brown in 2008, are seeking 10,000 signatures by July 15 to get Ketner's name on the ballot along with Greene and the Republican incumbent, Sen. Jim DeMint.
Ketner confidante Tasha Gandy announced the "all volunteer viral and field organizing effort" in an e-mail to former Ketner staffers Wednesday. "Long shot?," she wrote. "Yes. Have crazier things happened in SC? Yes. Can you help?"
The former staffers have also launched a campaign-style website for the petition drive.
Amazing. The voters in South Carolina have made their intentions clear, voting for Alvin Greene to hopefully be their senator, and because he doesn't fit the model of what white liberals think a good, articulate Negro should be, they're trying to take him out. The people of South Carolina need to step up and fight this injustice.

Obama Gives Part Of Arizona To Mexico
About 3,500 acres of southern Arizona along the Mexican border is closed to U.S. citizens due to increased violence in the region.
The closed off area stretches 80 miles along the border and includes part of the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge. It was closed in October 2006 "due to human safety concerns," the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Wednesday in response to news reports on the closure.
Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu told Fox News that violence against law enforcement officers and U.S. citizens has increased in the past four months, further underscoring the need to keep the 80 miles of border land off-limits to Americans.
The refuge had been adversely affected by the increase in drug smugglers, illegal activity and surveillance, which made it dangerous for Americans to visit.
"The situation in this zone has reached a point where continued public use of the area is not prudent," said refuge manager Mitch Ellis.

17yr Old Girl Gets Punched In The Face By A Cop For Jaywalking
This is a big problem with urban communities around the country: not knowing how to act around cops. Acting shiesty, suspicious and/or aggressive around police officers is not only stupid, but could cost you your life. I know the NAACP likes to go hunting for "RACISM!!!" anywhere they can find it, but considering that woman puts her hands on a cop, she's lucky she came away from it with just a punch in the face. Could the cop have handled the situation better, controlled his suspect and called for back-up if he thought the crowd was getting hostile? Of course. But no matter how foul you think they're acting you never put your hands on a cop. Better to take mental notes (or in this case use a cellphone to videotape the incident), get the cop's name and badge file a police brutality report.

Amy Bishop Now Charged With Brother's 1996 Shooting Death After Liberal Politician Bill Delahunt Let Her Go
Thanks to shoddy police work and a liberal politician Amy Bishop got away with murder, lived a normal life for 20-plus years and killed again. Starting with Bill Delahunt, everyone involved with letting Amy Bishop in '86 go needs to be jailed.A biology professor charged with killing three of her colleagues at an Alabama university has been indicted in the 1986 shooting death of her brother in Massachusetts, prosecutors announced Wednesday.
Amy Bishop, 45, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 18-year-old brother, Seth, Norfolk District Attorney William Keating said.
Authorities had originally ruled her brother's shooting an accident, but they reopened the case after Bishop was charged in February with gunning down six of her colleagues at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, killing three.
Keating said he did not understand why charges were never brought against Amy Bishop.
"I can't give you any explanations, I can't give you excuses, because there are none," he said.
Bishop had told police who investigated her brother's death that she accidentally shot him while trying to unload her father's 12-gauge shotgun in the family's Braintree home. Her mother, Judith, the only witness to the shooting, confirmed her daughter's account to police.
But after Bishop was charged in the Alabama shootings, authorities began reinvestigating Seth Bishop's death.
U.S. Rep. William Delahunt, who was then the Norfolk County district attorney, said that Braintree police never told anyone in his office that after Bishop shot her brother, she tried to commandeer a getaway car at gunpoint at a local car dealership, then refused to drop her gun until officers ordered her to do so repeatedly. Those events were described in Braintree police reports but not in a report written by a state police detective assigned to the district attorney's office.

Perez Hilton Loses Advertising After Posting Miley Cyrus Upskirt Photo
Perez Hilton: bully, hypocrite, liberal icon, gay "rights" spokesman and all-around pervert. This is your modern-day Left.ABC has pulled its ads from gossip blogger Perez Hilton's Web site, PerezHilton.com, after he caught legal flack for posting upskirt photos of 17-year-old Disney star Miley Cyrus. However, several big-name companies still have ads running on the snarky blogger's site.
Amid speculation that Hilton may be slapped with kiddie-porn charges over the lurid photos, ABC has removed its ads for "The View" from the popular gossip site. But other advertisers appear to be sticking by Hilton. TV Land still had a full-page background promotion and two smaller ads on PerezHilton.com, and Apple iTunes and Microsoft's search engine Bing still had advertisements up as of Wednesday afternoon.
The drama started Monday, when Hilton posted a link to a photo of Cyrus getting out of a car in a tight white dress - and apparently, no underwear. Outrage erupted over the photo, with some calling the image "child pornography" since Cyrus is legally a minor. Hilton quickly removed the picture, but has brushed off the incident as a "fake" controversy.
It's odd that Microsoft, which owns Bing, would opt to keep advertising. It has recently been touting its own crusade against kiddie-porn.
Maureen Dowd Criticizes Obama's Emotional Detachment
Granted, there will always be Obama stans who will stick in Barry's corner no matter how much he keeps wrecking havoc on the country, but the big picture remains clear: the Left is starting to realize that Barry's many faults aren't just FOX News talking points, they're real.President Obama was supposed to be a soothing change. He had a rough childhood. Michelle once told a friend that “Barack spent so much time by himself that it was like he was raised by wolves.” But he seemed to have come through exceptionally well adjusted. “His aides from the Senate, the presidential campaign, and the White House routinely described him with the same words: ‘psychologically healthy,’ ” writes Jonathan Alter in “The Promise,” a chronicle of Obama’s first year in office.
So it’s unnerving now to have yet another president elevating personal quirks into a management style. How can a man who was a dazzling enough politician to become the first black president at age 47 suddenly become so obdurately self-destructive about politics?
President Obama’s bloodless quality about people and events, the emotional detachment that his aides said allowed him to see things more clearly, has instead obscured his vision. It has made him unable to understand things quickly on a visceral level and put him on the defensive in this spring of our discontent, failing to understand that Americans are upset that a series of greedy corporations have screwed over the little guy without enough fierce and immediate pushback from the president.
“Even though I’m president of the United States, my power is not limitless,” Obama, who has forced himself to ingest a load of gulf crab cakes, shrimp and crawfish tails, whinged to Grand Isle, La., residents on Friday. “So I can’t dive down there and plug the hole. I can’t suck it up with a straw.”

Going mysteriously opposite to contentions by some liberal media members, comedian Jon Stewart on Monday actually defended Republicans from claims they planted the hapless Alvin Greene in the South Carolina Democrat primary.
After a lengthy discussion concerning the absurdity of Greene's victory, "The Daily Show" host played clips of media and Democrats alleging this was all a GOP plot.
"This is the Republicans' fault?" Stewart asked satirically.
"This is the political equivalent of running yourself a warm bath, falling asleep next to it with your hand in the tub, wetting yourself, and then blaming the Republicans"

CNN Mocks Senate Candidate Alvin Greene
Clearly, Alvin Greene doesn't possess the eloquence of The One (or maybe someone just needs to get Mr. Greene his own teleprompter as we've certainly seen how The One performs without his), but is this any way to treat a Senate candidate? Alvin Greene won his race, if the media really wants to investigate claims that he may be a plant, shouldn't they do their job and talk to South Carolina Democrats who voted for him instead of mocking the man? Or is the white, elitist media just showing their colors in treating a "not-too-smart, dark-skinned Negro" with such ire and disdain?

Michelle Obama Uses Military To Campaign For Barbara Boxer
Appearing with the first lady was Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), who faces a potentially tough re-election challenge from Republican nominee Carly Fiorina. In May, President Barack Obama flew to California for a fundraiser to benefit Boxer.
Earlier in June, Mrs. Obama -- who has the luxury of picking and choosing where she goes to speak -- was in Nevada for anti-childhood obesity events with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), whose chances for re-election brightened last week when Republicans nominated Sharron Angle.
Boxer spoke briefly at the Camp Pendleton event; Rep. Susan Davis (D-Calif.) was also there. Even though the first lady takes pains to avoid controversy, and so far has limited her overt political events in the 2010 cycle, the Fiorina campaign said the joint appearance was de facto political help.
Fiorina's campaign manager, in an e-mail to The Associated Press, used the Camp Pendleton event as a peg to attack the incumbent. "The bottom line is that Barbara Boxer has shown a total disregard for our men and women in uniform, and her record on security issues is, to put it generously, dismal," Fiorina's deputy campaign manager, Julie Soderlund, said in the e-mail.
"Today, she's getting some help yet again from the Obamas in an attempt to try to mask that over," Soderlund said. "But the facts are the facts. And the facts bite, especially for those who put their lives on the line every day to protect this great nation."
Fiorina has made Boxer's record on supporting the military an issue and during the GOP primary her campaign highlighted Boxer dressing down a general during a Senate hearing for calling her "ma'am."
What a disgrace. Michelle O. has no shame. To make appearances before our troops with a woman who has shown nothing but complete disregard and disdain for our troops welfare just shows that the "First Lady" is just as corrupt as the husband. One-term baby. One-term.

Democrat Congressman Bob Etheridge Attacks College Student
Three days after an Internet video surfaced showing North Carolina Rep. Bob Etheridge in a physical confrontation with a young man, the lawmaker said he is "profoundly" sorry for the tussle on a Washington street.
Etheridge, a Democrat, is seen in an amateur video grabbing the wrist and neck of an unidentified young man after the man approached the congressman and asked if he supported the "Obama agenda."
"I apologize for my actions," Etheridge told reporters during a press conference Monday. "They were unacceptable."
"No matter how partisan and no matter how difficult things get sometimes, that's no excuse for my response," he added, shortly after releasing a written statement in which he said he "profoundly" regrets the incident.
The video, posted to YouTube last Friday, shows the man, who appears to be in his early 20s and who identifies himself as a student, approaching Etheridge on the sidewalk.
Need more proof that the pressure is getting to this inept, scandal-ridden Congress? They can keep blaming Bush all they want, but the people elected them for "change" 4 years ago and not a damn thing has come of it. Come November it'll be time to throw the bums out.

David Axelrod: Alvin Greene Doesn’t Appear To Be “Legitimate”
It’s probably safe to say that South Carolina Senate Dem primary winner Alvin Greene will not be hearing from anonymous senior administration officials out to offer him a cushy job in exchange for him dropping out of the race. Instead, I imagine the White House (and many others) are hoping the press will do their dirty work and solve the strange mystery of how Greene — a totally unfunded, unknown — won the SC primary last week.
When asked this morning on Meet the Press whether he thought Greene was a “legitimate candidate” David Axelrod did not pull many punches.
It’s doesn’t appear so to me. It’s a mysterious deal, he didn’t campaign, the whole thing is odd, and I don’t really know how to explain it. I don’t think anyone else does either….I think the Democrats of South Carolina deserve a strong, credible candidate, and I guess he would argue he won 60% of the primary so that would be him. How he won the primary is a big mystery though, and until you resolve that I don’t think he can claim to be a strong, credible candidate.
They just don't know what to do with this guy, be extremely funny if he did turn out to be a plant, like Democrats don't have enough to worry about.

Nancy Pelosi Still Blames George W. Bush For . . . Everything
This morning on MSNBC, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi spoke to Chuck Todd about the historic oil spill, Carly Fiorina, and of course, blaming the Bush administration. In fact, she blamed the fundamentals of the financial crisis on the 43rd president.
Interestingly, when Todd first began asking, “Why do Democrats keep blamin’ the Bush administration,” Pelosi interrupted and said, “I haven’t even heard that.” Really, Madam Speaker? Todd then asked her when Americans would get tired of hearing the country’s problems blamed on George W. Bush.
“When do you feel like that runs out with the public?” Todd asked.
Pelosi replied:
“Well, it burns out when the problems go away. And here’s what the president inherited. He inherited–a deficit, when this president inherited from the Clinton administration four budgets that were either in surplus or in balance. And he turned it into a massive deficit.”
