Michael Steele Takes Down Andrea Mitchell's Democrat Talking Points

It's times like this when Michael Steele reminds you of how much of an asset he can be to the GOP and conservatives in general. Black conservatives are seeing a boom right now with the electorate and Steele needs to take advantage of it. And say what you want about Steele, but he's not going to let the Soros-run, liberal media ever intimidate him.

While Unemployment Rises, Obama Touts Job "Growth"

Today the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor and Statistics released its monthly jobs report showing that the nation’s unemployment rose to 9.9% in April despite the addition of 290,000 jobs, 66,000 of which were temporary Census 2010 jobs. The rise in unemployment was driven by the entrance of 195,000 previously discouraged Americans reentering the workforce. In total, the U.S. economy has now lost a net of 2.6 million jobs since President Barack Obama signed his $862 billion stimulus plan. We are 7.6 million jobs short of the 137.8 million he promised the American economy would support by 2010.

It is encouraging to see the American economy beginning to recover, but these numbers again indicate that the Obama administration’s heavy government hand has retarded and deformed what otherwise would have been a more robust recovery. The White House may tout Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reports showing their $862 billion stimulus created jobs, but the CBO has also admittedfound: 1) no statistical correlation between unemployment and how the $862 billion was spent; 2) that Democratic districts received one-and-a-half times as many awards as Republican ones; and 3) an average cost of $286,000 was awarded per job created. $286,000 per job created. their computer simulation didn’t take any actual new real world data into account. To the contrary, an independent study of real world stimulus facts

And what kind of jobs were created? According to Gallup the federal government is hiring at a significantly faster pace than the private sector. And data from BLS confirms that governments are increasing public sector pay at far faster rates than the private sector. None of this should be a surprise. President Obama specifically designed his stimulus to preserve government union jobs.

Students Kicked Off Campus For Wearing American Flag T-Shirts

View more news videos at: http://www.nbcbayarea.com/video.

On any other day at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Daniel Galli and his four friends would not even be noticed for wearing T-shirts with the American flag. But Cinco de Mayo is not any typical day especially on a campus with a large Mexican American student population.

Galli says he and his friends were sitting at a table during brunch break when the vice principal asked two of the boys to remove American flag bandannas that they wearing on their heads and for the others to turn their American flag T-shirts inside out. When they refused, the boys were ordered to go to the principal's office.

"They said we could wear it on any other day," Daniel Galli said, "but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it's supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today."

The boys said the administrators called their T-shirts "incendiary" that would lead to fights on campus.
Another example of what direction the country is headed in during the Obama Era. They should contact the ACLU, no really they should. If this doesn't represent a diss towards "civil liberties" then what does?

Navy Seal Matthew McCabe Found Not Guilty!

That's a perfect 3 for 3:
Navy SEAL Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe was found not guilty Thursday evening on charges of assaulting detained terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed, dereliction of duty, and impeding an investigation based on a false statement.

A seven member military jury deliberated for an hour and forty minutes before reaching a verdict. For McCabe to be found not guilty, two-thirds of the jury had to agree on each charge.

Upon hearing the verdict, McCabe's mother gasped in jubilation, covering her mouth her hands, while his father and sister smiled. McCabe and his counel shared a few hugs and pats on the back.

Last month in courts martial in Baghdad, Petty Officers Julio Huertas and Jonathan Keefe, also Navy SEALs, were acquitted of charges that they failed to safeguard Abed. McCabe was the only SEAL charged with actual assault.
Must suck to get punched in the face after you've killed innocent people. Only under a terrorist-sympathizing administration like Barack Obama's would this shame be allowed to be brought on our troops. We'll remember come November.

Jan Brewer Fights Back Against Obama, Janet Napolitano And Liberal Lies On SB1070

Damn, this is good, really good. If the Left thinks it can intimidate this woman, they really picked the wrong one. Here we see Brewer not only rebutting idiot liberals with FACTS on SB10170 (essentially  how it's only reinforcing what's already in the damn Constitution), but she reiterates it's intent, how racial profiling won't be tolerated and how as a border state Arizona is not only going bankrupt because of illegal immigrants, but citizens (again, 70% of whom supported the law) there are literally living in fear thanks to increasing crime rates in lieu of drug cartels from north of the border fighting for turf in her own state. Brewer then goes on to name names, specifically Barry and former Arizona janet Napolitano, and calls them both out on their smear tactics, hypocrisy and blatant inaction concerning the problem at hand. I swear if Jan Brewer ever decides to run for President, she's got my vote:
Boycotts are just more politics and manipulation by out-of-state interests. As a border state, Arizona has already paid a heavy price for the federal government's failure -- hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars in unreimbursed costs -- and its citizens should not be punished further.

It is critically important that all Americans understand the impetus for this new law and have a clear understanding of the law itself. Our neighbor to the south, Mexico, is in a massive battle with well-organized drug cartels. Because of Washington's failure to secure our southern border, Arizona has become the superhighway of illegal drug and human smuggling activity. In December 2008, the U.S. Justice Department said that Mexican gangs are the "biggest organized crime threat to the United States." In 2009, Phoenix had 316 kidnapping cases, turning the city into our nation's kidnapping capital. Almost all of the persons kidnapped were illegal immigrants or linked to the drug trade.

Essentially, our border leaks like a team with a last-place defense. The very same week that I signed the new law, a major drug ring was broken up and Mexican cartel operatives suspected of running 40,000 pounds of marijuana through southern Arizona were indicted.

While drug smuggling is the principal cause of our massive border-violence problem, many of the same criminal organizations also smuggle people. Busts of drop houses, where illegal immigrants are often held for ransom or otherwise severely abused, are not uncommon occurrences in Arizona neighborhoods.

Today, Arizona has approximately 6,000 prison inmates who are foreign nationals, representing a cost to our state of roughly $150 million per year. Arizona taxpayers are paying for a vast majority of these incarceration expenses because the federal government refuses to pay what it owes. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, as governor of Arizona, sent numerous requests to the federal government to pay for these prisoners -- only to be given the same answer she and President Barack Obama are now giving Arizona: They will not pay the bill.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Didn't Need To Apologize To Drama Queen Erin Andrews

As a sports nut, I couldn't help but notice all the Erin Andrews stalking drama that's been going on for the last year or two. In a nutshell, last year some creep posted a nude photo of the ESPN host on a website that he videotaped through a hotel peephole. Quickly, a whole media brouhaha ensued, the creep got caught, Andrews notoriety went gangbusters and the guy was eventually sentenced to 30 months in jail. Fair enough. But the problem I have with Erin Andrews is how she handled the whole thing: self-righteous, over-the-top, snobby, victimhood with drama and emotions that would make Meryl Streep envious. Then too, as a host on ESPN, Andrews never seemed to have any problem playing up her good looks and charm with the mostly male, testosterone-filled, sports crowd (and let's not pretend that Andrews being a "PWF" aka 'Pretty White Female' didn't play into all the attention this drama got either).

So nitwit conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck makes a "joke" about how Erin's stalker/peeping tom could have saved himself some jail time if he just waited a few weeks to see her on "Dancing With The Stars" (where Andrews is a contestant on wearing half-naked outfits) and now the whole world (including, of course, Andrews) is ready to crucify her. First, you know that half the grief Hasselbeck's getting is due to her being a the sole "conservative" on a popular, left-leaning, daytime TV show. Then too is the fact that it was a "JOKE"...yunno like haha, funny...surely David Letterman or Jay Leno could've made the same joke on late-night TV and gotten away with it. Finally, even after Hasselbeck apologized to Andrews personally, the pretentious snob that is Andrews couldn't resist playing the righteous feminist card while taking a cheap shot at Elisabeth: “It was a slap in the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators. As a mother and a woman, I’m disappointed she went there.” Really now, was that necessary? Of course not. But then when it comes to playing the victim we haven't seen this kind of theatrics from a woman since the likes of Susan Smith.

Florida GOP Candidate Dan Fanelli Is A Certified Idiot

I don't believe for a second that most Republicans are racist, but any steps the GOP makes to reject leftwing hyperbole that equats them to not caring about the interests of minorities are damaged by idiots like Doug Fanelli. To think, in the era of Bernie Madoff I'd be more worried dealing with the old, white guy:
In the spot, which ran over the weekend on a Fox affiliate in central Florida, Fanelli stands between a middle-aged white man and a younger, swarthy fellow. "Does this look like a terrorist?" he asks, gesturing towards the white man. Then, pointing to the darker dude, he adds: "Or this?"

"It's time to stop this political correctness in the invasion of our privacy," Fanelli says, an apparent call for racial profiling in the searching of those deemed to be potential terrorists.

In an interview, I asked Fanelli if the message of the spot was that darker people are more likely to be terrorists.

He said it wasn't, claiming that the ad's point was that people from countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Syria "require a higher level of security."

"You can be light and from those countries," he said, adding that the actor who played the terrorist in the commercial agreed with him.
I expect MSNBC to have a field day with this one and rightfully so.

Barack Obama Was Largest Recipient Of BP Cash

Just the facts ladies and gents:
As petroleum giant BP comes under congressional scrutiny as its ruptured oil rig pumps thousands of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico, its political contributions are being scrutinized, too.

The top recipient of BP-related donations during the 2008 presidential election was Barack Obama, who collected $71,000, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.
Combined with his decision earlier this year to expand off-shore drilling one suspects that The Teleprompter-in-Chief is going to have to answer some tough questions in the next few days.

Obama Water Carrier Al Sharpton Won't Mention How Illegal Immigration Hurts Blacks

Race hustler Sharpton is going to Phoenix:
The Rev. Al Sharpton, Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon and Hispanic leaders will lead a Wednesday evening march to the Arizona State Capitol in a protest against the state's new law targeting illegal immigration.

Organizers plan a gathering at a church near downtown Phoenix and then a three-mile candlelight procession to the Capitol. Participants will then join a vigil at the Capitol in protest of the new law.

The law's provisions include a requirement that state and local law enforcement officers question people about their immigration status if there's reason to suspect they're in the country illegally. It also makes it a state crime to be in the United States illegally.
Conservatives have long known that the suddenly Don't-You-Dare-Criticize-Barry "minister" and Speaker For All Blacks doesn't care about the best interests of Black people so much as he cares about fattening his own pockets. Yet, Black Americans, currently suffering from a disproportionate unemployment rate of 17% (under a "Black" President 95% of them voted for, no less) fall for the same tricks from Sharpton and his merry band of race-hustlers time and time again. So while Sharpton calls on naive, Black liberals to form a "brown coalition" against Arizona's SB1070, he won't mention how illegal immigration is hurting Black Americans. Indeed, the median Black household made an average of $32,000 in 2007. In the same year the median household income for illegal immigrants was $37,000. Facts continue to show that illegal immigrants are not only taking away from jobs from Americans in general, but Black people in particular, not that Barry's suddenly favorite water-carrier gives a damn

Obama Administration Took Their Sweet Old Time Responding To Gulf Coast Oil Spill

Then there's the administration's rhetoric about anticipating the magnitude of the crisis and bringing all resources to bear on Day One.

"We had (Defense Department) resources there from Day One. This was a situation that was treated as a possible catastrophic failure from, from Day One," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."

That sense of urgency was not so apparent when White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was questioned about the incident April 23, three days after it occurred. At the time he seemed to dismiss its severity and indicated it wouldn't affect Obama's plans to open up new areas of the coast to offshore drilling.

"I don't honestly think it opens up a whole new series of questions, because, you know, in all honesty I doubt this is the first accident that has happened and I doubt it will be the last," Gibbs said.

A week later, Obama was announcing plans for Interior Secretary Ken Salazar to review whether new technologies were needed to safeguard against oil spills from deep-water drilling rigs. The president said no new offshore oil drilling leases would be issued without any such safeguards.

And Napolitano's comments over the weekend about the Pentagon's Day One role seemed a change from last Thursday, when she seemed to indicate the Defense Department was not yet involved in responding to the spill: "If and when they have something to add, we'll certainly make that known," she said.
The "Obama's Katrina" meme continues to grow.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer Receives White Powder In Mail

The FBI will assist in the investigation of a suspicious envelope addressed to Gov. Jan Brewer that an employee at the Capitol opened Tuesday, sending the Executive Tower into one-hour lockdown after a white powder spilled from the envelope onto a computer.

Phoenix Fire Department hazardous materials experts spent less than one hour in the building. No injuries or complaints of illness were reported and the tower was reopened around 11:20 a.m.

The letter was opened in the governor's constituency services office in the tower at 1700 W. Washington St.

The powder is being analyzed at a state Health Department lab. The results of the tests should be released Wednesday.
Of course, this won't be reported by the MSM--doesn't support the "RACISM" meme.

MSNBC Host Contessa Brewer Hoped Times Square Bomber Would Be A Tea Partier

They want to find the "RACISM!" so bad, but everywhere they look they keep coming up empty.

Global Warming Hustler Al Gore Purchases $9Million Villa

Apparently not as worried about dangerous sea level rises as he touts in his speeches, Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife Tipper have purchased a seaside villa in Montecito, California. The Nobel Laureate reported paid $8.8 million for the property.

TheLos Angeles Times, via the Montecito Journal is reporting that the home is on a 1.5 acre lot complete with a swimming pool, spa and fountains in an area that is also home to Oprah Winfrey and other Hollywood celebrities. The Gore’s will have plenty of room for guests and entertaining with five bedrooms and nine baths in the home as well as six fireplaces.

Gore has come under fire in the past for leaving a carbon footprint far in excess of the average American leading to charges of “do as I say, not as I do.”

His 10,000 square foot mansion in Nashville, Tennessee was the subject of much discussion three years ago when it was revealed that it used 12 times as much electricity as the average home in the area. Similarly, he flies tens of thousands of miles a year further adding to his role as a lightning rod in the debate about global warming.

The former vice president says he lives a ‘carbon neutral’ life by purchasing carbon offsets. Those are purchased largely from Generation Investment Management, a firm in which Gore serves as chairman and profits from. The U.K. Telegraph speculated last year that Gore would become the world’s first “carbon billionaire.”
No former Vice-President (or former President for that matter) has gotten as rich after leaving politics as Al Gore has. Yet, the Left doesn't want you to believe that he's a scam artist who could possibly be exploiting global warming hysteria for his own wallet....no, he's simply a noble businessman who happens to have done pretty well for himself of late. But it's the same hypocrites on the Left who remain just awestruck that Sarah Palin could possibly have some sort of business acumen since she resigned from the Governor's post last year (mind you, Palin's earnings since she resigned are a pipsqueak when compared to The Goracle's). Yeah, Al Gore gets to buy his 4th house (sorry thats "villa") because he's just "smarter" than everyone else, that's why the MSM sees no news here and that's why their ratings continue to decline.

Rapist Roman Polanski Now Wants To Play 'Victim'

Ending a long silence, Roman Polanski addressed his possible extradition to the United States over a 33-year-old sex-crime case with a statement that accused authorities here of “trying to serve me on a platter to the media of the world,” instead of honoring what he described as an agreement, made decades ago, to limit his punishment to time already served.

“I have decided to break my silence in order to address myself directly to you without any intermediaries and in my own words,” Mr. Polanski said in the statement, which was distributed to the news media on Sunday.

The 908-word statement was circulated by Bernard-Henri Lévy, who is a friend of Mr. Polanski’s and the director of the French magazine La Règle du Jeu. Mr. Polanski, the Oscar-winning director whose films include “The Pianist” and “Chinatown,” was arrested in Switzerland on Sept. 26. He has since been held pending possible extradition for sentencing in the case that stemmed from his arrest in 1977 after having sex with a 13-year-old girl.
Roman Polanski is a sick, despicable creep and so is everyone on the Left who defends this monster. He drugged and raped a young girl and then ran when he had to face sentencing. After spending years on the lam (thanks mostly to his fame, fortune and Hollyweird friends), now he wants everyone to forget his sex crimes and leave him be. What a coward.

Obama Dismisses War Casualties And Makes Joke About Predator Drones

Everyone agrees that President Obama was funnier than Jay Leno at the White House Correspondents Association dinner on Saturday night. But this joke is inspiring some backlash:
"Jonas Brothers are here, they're out there somewhere. Sasha and Malia are huge fans, but boys, don't get any ideas. Two words for you: predator drones. You will never see it coming. You think I'm joking?"
"You have to wonder why in the world the president's speech writers would think it was a good idea to throw a joke about predator drones into the president's speech during the White House Correspondent's Dinner, given that an estimated one-third of drone casualties, or between 289 and 378, have been civilians," wrote Adam Serwer at the American Prospect.

"Let's be honest, fellow progressives, we'd be all over Bush if he made the same 'predator drone' joke Obama told last night," Philadelphia Daily News' Will Bunch tweeted

Drone attacks in Pakistan have killed hundreds of suspected insurgents since early 2009 -- but they have also killed civilians and stirred up animosity towards the U.S. in Pakistan.

President Bush was pilloried for making light of the lack of WMDs in Iraq at the 2004 White House Correspondents' Dinner.
But he displayed "comedic genious", that's all that matters.

Obama Promotes Reading Radically-Left Huffington Post At Michigan U. Commencement Address

"If you’re a fan of Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh, try reading a few columns on the Huffington Post website."

So said President Barack Obama in his commencement address to the University of Michigan 2010 graduates Saturday.

"If we choose only to expose ourselves to opinions and viewpoints that are in line with our own, studies suggest that we will become more polarized, more set in our ways," ironically said the President.

"But if we choose to actively seek out information that challenges our assumptions and our beliefs, perhaps we can begin to understand where the people who disagree with us are coming from."
Conservatives are already aware of the very cozy relationship the Teleprompter-in-Chief has long had with the angry, radically-Left, blame-Bush-for-everything-wrong-with-the-planet Huffington Post, but this takes the cake. Dare anyone call him an "ideologue" after this.

T-Shirt Vendor Saves Manhattan

Three heroic cops and a quick-thinking street vendor stopped a madman from detonating a car bomb in the heart of Times Square Saturday night, law enforcement officials told the Daily News.

"It looked like someone tried to detonate it and we got to it in time," a police source said. "This is a big deal. It has the makings of a real car bomb."

The federal government views the incident a "potential terrorist attack," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Sunday.

"We're taking this very seriously," Napolitano told CNN's "State of the Union" program. "We're treating it as if it could be a potential terrorist attack."

Cops evacuated and shut down the Times Square are Saturday night, but all streets were reopened by 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

The T-shirt vendor - a Vietnam vet - told Officer Wayne Rhatigan there was smoke coming from a Nissan SUV on the southwest corner of 45th St. and Broadway about 6:30 p.m., sources said.

Rhatigan approached the car, saw the smoke and sprang into action.

"I did a lap around the vehicle. The inside was smoking," Rhatigan told the Daily News. "I smelled gunpowder and knew it might blow. I thought it might blow any second."
Since I've been out of F/T work I rarely venture into Manhattan these days, but I do need any reason to go at all after this crap? Probably not. Free speech or no free speech, unless you got an army ready to go war behind you, you don't fuck with the Taliban...so yeah, let 'em have the "South Park" HQ's if they want it, I'll be resting easy in Brooklyn.

Arizona Deputy Shot By Illegal Immigrant In Desert

Authorities have captured 17 suspected illegal immigrants in southern Arizona as they continued their manhunt Saturday for smugglers who they say shot and wounded a sheriff's deputy in a remote desert area 50 miles south of Phoenix.

Three of those captured overnight Friday matched descriptions from the wounded Pinal County deputy and were being questioned Saturday, sheriff's Lt. Tamatha Villar said. The deputy was released from the hospital, and was recovering at home.

The shooting came amid a growing national debate over the state's new law cracking down on illegal immigration. A backlash over the law has erupted, with civil rights activists, concerned it will lead to racial profiling, calling for protests and boycotts.

Criticism of the law was sure to figure prominently at dozens of immigrants rights marches and rallies planned for Saturday across the nation, including one set for the grounds of the Arizona state Capitol.

The new law's passage came amid increasing anger in Arizona about violence, drug smugglers and illegal immigration drop houses. The issue gained renewed attention a month ago when a southern Arizona rancher was shot and killed by a suspected illegal border crosser.
Where's the blame on the liberal press for inciting violence against Arizona law enforcemnt?

Bill Maher Goes After Obama For Oil Spill, Ted Kennedy For Chappaquiddick

Shocker. Wonder who spiked Maher's kool-aid?

Ann Coulter Attacks Karl Rove, Rubio For Opposition To Arizona Immigration Law

Ann Coulter paid Juan Williams a visit on The O’Reilly Factor last night to discuss the two hottest topics in the news cycle: the Arizona immigration bill and the Goldman Sachs housing market scandal. On the former, she had some harsh words for fellow conservatives Karl Rove and Marco Rubio for attack it; on the latter, she blamed past Democratic abuses of power and claimed the proposed financial reform bill “looks like it was written by Hugo Chavez.”

Coulter defended the law against what she called “blatant, blatant lying” about the potential for racial profiling, and argued that “it’s not like Arizona is inventing this legal principle.” When asked about the reaction of many fellow consevatives, including Florida Senate candidate Marco Rubio, Karl Rove, and Texas governor Rick Perry, Coulter said she was “upset”– especially at Rubio– and that she thought “they are responding to the nonsense that is being published out there. People get bullied into taking silly positions.”

This Week's Sign Of The Apocalypse: Grandmother In Love With Grandson And They're Having A Baby

Meet 72-year-old Pearl Carter of Indiana and her 26-year-old biological grandson Phil Bailey. Not only are they in love, but they're having a child together via a surrogate.
Pearl Carter is positively glowing with joy. She has a handsome new boyfriend, is enjoying an active sex life after many years of celibacy and, amazingly, is preparing to become a mother again.

But the retired grandmother isn't carrying the baby herself. She and her young lover have spent a staggering $54,000 hiring a surrogate to help them with their dreams of having a child.

What makes Pearl's decision to become a mum again even more shocking is that her new boyfriend is her biological grandson, 26-year-old Phil Bailey.

Phil is the son of Pearl's daughter Lynette Bailey, and the pair is braving public horror and even prison by breaking one of the last taboos – incest.

However, the pair makes no apologies for their controversial plan to start their own family.

'I'm not interested in anyone else's opinion,' Pearl says. 'I am in love with Phil and he's in love with me. Soon I'll be holding my son or daughter in my arms and Phil will be the proud dad'.

Phil adds, 'I love Pearl with all my heart. I've always been attracted to older women and I think Pearl is gorgeous. Now I'm going to be a dad and I can't wait.

'Yes, we get laughed at and bullied when we go out and kiss in public but we don't care. You can't help who you fall for.'
Pearl and Phil have been together since 2006. A year ago they decided to use Pearl's retirement money to hire a surrogate to carry their child. Pearl says, "I am finally going to be a mum and not forced to give up my child. Phil's going to be a great dad. I never in a million years thought at 72 I'd be "pregnant" and in love with my grandson. I make no apologies and I believe God's given me a second chance."
Sick. This kind of stuff makes me want to give up my dream of visiting New Zealand.
