Anderson Cooper Smacks Down Alan Grayson's Use Of Race Card

NewsBusters.org:

It was by no means surprising to see Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) come down harshly on the Florida doctor who posted a sign in his office telling Obama supporters to seek care elsewhere.

What was somewhat shocking was seeing CNN's Anderson Cooper take on Grayson Friday evening when the Congressman accused Dr. Jack Cassell of being racist.

"What he is doing is no different from saying I will not treat a black person," amazingly stated Grayson.

Cooper surprisingly didn't agree

Woah, good for Anderson Cooper! To think maybe this kind of fair reporting on the issues could help CNN with their plummeting ratings.

This Week's Sign Of The Apocalypse: "RapeLay", Japanese Rape Video Game Resurfaces

This video game is an in-your-face degradation of women everywhere, as is anything that makes rape seem ok. I don't know jack about politics in Japan, but if there isn't already pressure on the Japanese government to police these kind of game makers, then there certainly needs to be. Unbelievable.

Disgruntled Democrats Join The Tea Party

CNN.com:
They are not typical Tea Party activists: A woman who voted for President Obama and believes he's a "phenomenal speaker." Another who said she was a "knee-jerk, bleeding heart liberal."

These two women are not alone.

Some Americans who say they have been sympathetic to Democratic causes in the past -- some even voted for Democratic candidates -- are angry with President Obama and his party. They say they are now supporting the Tea Party -- a movement that champions less government, lower taxes and the defeat of Democrats even though it's not formally aligned with the Republican Party.

To be sure, the number of Democrats in the Tea Party movement is small. A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll shows that while 96 percent of Tea Party activists identify themselves as either Republican or Independent, only 4 percent say they are Democrats.

The 'Blame Bush' era has long ended, Americans are tired of the current regime.

Obama's Approval Rating Drops To Record Low

Newsmax.com:
This healthcare thing apparently isn’t working out too well politically for President Barack Obama. His approval rating fell to a record low of 44 percent in the latest CBS News Poll.

That compares to 49 percent in late March, just before the healthcare reform bill became law. His approval rating was 50 percent in January and 68 percent last April.

Obama does even worse on healthcare. Only 34 percent of respondents approve of his healthcare policy, down from 41 percent in late March, 40 percent in January and 49 percent in July.

Americans aren’t exactly doing somersaults over Obama’s economic policy either.

Only 42 percent of poll respondents approve of Obama’s handling of the economy, down from 45 percent before the healthcare passage, though up slightly from 41 percent in January. Still, it’s a plunge from 61 percent last April.

Only 16 percent see the economy in good condition. That’s down from 22 percent in December, though it’s up from 5 percent in February 2009.

Citizens are undoubtedly worried about the job market, with unemployment registering 9.7 percent for March.

Thirty-five percent of respondents say they are “very concerned” someone in their household will lose a job, up from 31 percent in February, though down from 44 percent a year ago.
Funny that this occurs even after the "groundbreaking" health care "reform".

Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson Now Says He Was Only "Joking" About Guam 'Tipping Over' Comment

CNN.com:
Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Georgia, is clarifying comments he made during a recent House Armed Services Committee hearing in which he suggested that the island of Guam, a U.S. territory, might "tip over and capsize."

While hearing testimony from Navy Admiral Robert F. Willard on March 25, Johnson expressed fear that the Pacific island of Guam might capsize if additional U.S. troops are deployed to a military base on the small island as planned.

"My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize," Johnson said.

Admiral Willard replied that the military did not expect the island to tip over.

We can only imagine all the havoc the lib media would be raising if Sarah Palin had made this "joke".

Obama Whines: Attacks Rush Limbaugh And Glenn Beck

Newsmax.com:
President Barack Obama said that while he never bought into the overly nice things people said about him after his election, he didn’t think he deserved the ‘vitriol’ he says he’s heard from Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

In an interview with CBS News' Harry Smith Thursday, Obama suggested that the two leading conservative voices on the airwaves were stirring up hatred toward him.
"I've been out and about, listening to talk radio," Smith told Obama. "The kindest of terms you're sometimes referred to out in America is a socialist. The worst of which I've heard is called a Nazi.

Are you aware of the level of enmity that crosses the airwaves and that people have made part of their daily conversation about you?
"Well, I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, it's pretty apparent, and it's troublesome," Obama said. "But keep in mind that there have been periods in American history where this kind of vitriol comes out. It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious, and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that's not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we're trying hard, that I want what's best for the country."

Added Obama:
"I didn't buy all the hype, right after inauguration, where everybody was only saying nice things about me. And I don't get too worried when things aren't going as well because I know that over time these things turn."
Really now, a President should be above publicly whining about political pundits who disagree with their views. Think President Bush ever cared about what Keith Olbermann or anyone else at MSNBC was saying about him while in office? But Barry's a narcissist who just hates people who somehow find a reason not to like him. Too bad and really now, get over it.

Liberal MoveOn Group, Creater Of Bush=Hitler Ads, To Protest Fake Tea Party "Hate"

These hypocrites have no shame, none whatsoever:

The Democrat-media complex has been pushing the idea that patriotic nonviolent resistance and opposition to ObamaCare and President Obama’s drive to turn America into a full-blown socialist state somehow constitutes “hate.”

Leftists keep trying to invent new incidents supposedly showing how their political adversaries in the Tea Party movement are sinister racists.

They claim –in the absence of proof– that black Democratic lawmakers were called the N-word as they walked to the U.S. Capitol building to vote on ObamaCare. They claim –in the absence of proof– that an anti-gay epithet was hurled at Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), an openly gay lawmaker.

It is an indisputable fact that the violence America is beginning to see is almost exclusively on the left, whether it’s a deranged registered Democrat flying his plane into a federal building in Austin, Texas, or a progressive coward calling in a death threat against a Republican lawmaker.

It is all part of the left’s push to delegitimize opposition to the socialist takeover of America. If you oppose the murder-in-progress of the American republic you are smeared as a redneck, teabagging, racist obstacle to progress — and you deserve what’s coming to you.

So it’s not surprising that the street theater specialists at MoveOn.org are planning to host a propaganda event tomorrow intended to reinforce this false notion that Constitution-loving pro-limited government enthusiasts are eeeevil haters.

The leftist thugs at MoveOn plan to hold a rally outside Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C. to urge the Republican Party to distance itself from the alleged “hate” caused by the passage of ObamaCare.

Of course, the left, and in particular the George Soros-led character assassins at Media Matters for America (I mean you, Jamison Foser, Eric Boehlert, and Terry Krepel) are largely responsible for the civil unrest that is growing across America. Anyone who supported ObamaCare is responsible for the tide of discontent that now threatens to tear the nation apart.

Wouldn't it something if an even stronger group of conservatives showed up tomorrow and told these hypocrites where to stick it.

Vatican Lashes Out At New York Times Over Abuse Scandal

YahooNews.com:

The church on Wednesday presented its highest-level official response yet to one of the most explosive recent revelations regarding sex abuse — a story the Times broke on the church's decision in the 1990s not to defrock a Wisconsin priest accused of molesting deaf boys.

It was the latest in a series of attacks on the press: Last week, L'Osservatore Romano, denounced what it said was a "clear and despicable intention" by the media to strike at Benedict "at any cost."

In the article posted Wednesday on the Vatican's Web site, Cardinal William Levada, head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, wrote: "I am not proud of America's newspaper of record, the New York Times, as a paragon of fairness."

Levada, an American, said the newspaper wrongly used the case of the Rev. Lawrence Murphy to find fault in Benedict's handling of abuse cases.

A Times spokeswoman defended the articles and said no one has cast doubt on the reported facts.

"The allegations of abuse within the Catholic church are a serious subject, as the Vatican has acknowledged on many occasions," said Diane McNulty. "Any role the current pope may have played in responding to those allegations over the years is a significant aspect of this story."

Listen, the Pope is the head of the Catholic church, therefore yes, he deserves some blame for longstanding child abuse within the faith--the buck stops with him and he can't run from that. But it's just like the Times and the rest of the liberal media (which less and less folks are reading, wonder why?) to use this scandal to not only degrade the Pope, but paint the entire church as nothing but a sex-crazed, orgy with leadership that looks the other way.

Bottom line, the Catholic church needs to enforce a strict One-Strike-You're-Out rule on priests caught abusing boys and they need to do a better job on working with local police to make sure these perverts with robes get locked up. Then too, change the damn rule already and let priests get married--it's not only practical in today's times, but it makes common sense and it'll help to rid the church of sexual abuse. I don't believe for a second that most Catholic priests molest boys. I'd think that most Catholics feel the same, but that doesn't mean that there still isn't a problem within the church that needs to be rectified immediately. And as busy and old as the Pope is, he needs to make sex abuse a priority. However, leave it to the liberal media with their bias and it's no surprise that they'd use this scandal to feed their own, personal hate for religion

Liberal Actor Matthew Modine Wonders Out Loud: Why Does Bin Laden Hate Us?

God, are the loons in Hollyweird stupid:

Lee Ermey, the ex-Marine-turned-actor who played the drill instructor in Full Metal Jacket, Stanley Kubrick’s classic 1987 film, parlayed his role into success as an American folk hero, particularly via his long-running shows on the History Channel, such as Mail Call and Lock ‘n’ Load. It took co-star Adam Baldwin a bit longer to find comparable fame, but he’s catching up fast. As Baldwin told PJM’s Ed Driscoll recently on PJM’s weekly Sirius-XM radio show, he was named TV Guide’s “Sexiest Newcomer” in 2005, despite an acting career that dates back to the early 1980s.

The American public was able to see past both actors’ over-the-top, Strangelovian parodies of Vietnam-era Marines required by Kubrick to find those rare Hollywood performers whose worldviews resonate with flyover country.

In contrast, Matthew Modine, who played “Private Joker,” the star and the only introspective character in Kubrick’s otherwise dark film, has fallen a bit by the wayside. He’s found steady work as a character actor. But his co-starring role in 1995’s Cutthroat Island may have permanently ended his bankability as a leading man in films. According to the Internet Movie Database, the abortive Geena Davis star vehicle was dubbed “the biggest financial loss to this date” by the Guinness Book of Records, with a loss of over 100 million dollars at the box office.

Modine’s boilerplate Hollywood politics aren’t helping to rebuild an emotional connection with most Americans, either. He was recently interviewed on CNN, where he came out with this gem:

Imagine if somebody were to really sit down with Osama Bin Ladin and say, “listen man, what is it that you’re so angry at me about that you’re willing to have people strap bombs to themselves, or get inside get inside of airplanes and fly them into buildings.” That would be the miracle if we can get, sit down and talk to our enemies and find a way for them to hear us.

Yes, just imagine. Maybe it would be like the Munich Agreement of 1938, after which British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain declared “peace in our time.”

Whoops.

Unfortunately, Matthew Modine is not alone in his way of thinking. Too few people really understand the jihadist threat and what drives it. Our friend Matthew has likely never heard of the Muslim Brotherhood (officially known as al-Ikhwan al-Muslimin), which included amongst its membership Sayyid Qutb, an Egyptian who spent time in Colorado as a college student in the 1940s. The Islamist terror group al-Qaeda grew in part from the seeds planted by Qutb.

The Obligatory "New York Senator Eric Adams Hopes To End Youths' Pants-Sagging Trend" Post

CNN.com:
A Brooklyn, New York, politician is hitting the streets in an effort to bag the sag.

State Sen. Eric Adams announced plans to post six billboards around Brooklyn targeting the pants-sagging trend popular with many young men. The billboards, which will hang on busy streets, feature two young men wearing low-hanging pants above the phrase, "Raise your pants, raise your image."

"It's part of a larger campaign ... to tell our young people and our community as a whole, we are better than this," Adams told CNN, adding that the sagging trend originated from prison culture. According to the former New York police captain, "I policed all over the city. ... The first indicator of whether a young person was in trouble was the way they dressed."

He plans to reach out to school boards to establish a standard dress code in classrooms and is also looking to media outlets, the Internet and endorsements to spread the word.

Cool in sentiment, but will it work? Highly doubt it. First, there's the fact teenagers especially, don't like to be told what they can and can't wear, much less how they should wear it. Secondly, while Adams message (on each ad is the slogan “Raise your pants, raise your image.”) is correct in every sense of how you represent yourself being a direct reflection of how outsiders see you, this stuff starts at home. So if parents aren't putting a stop to the baggy-pants nonsense, how's a political supposed to do it? Third, as much as I hate to stereotype the genre, hip-hop has to (and will) get part of the blame here (although it should be noted that most experts on urban culture agree that the baggy-pants trend started behond prison bars, not wih rap music) what with today's rap artists continuing to milk "gangsta" images, kids will feel free to continue to emulating them. Last, if Senator Adams really wants his campaign to succeed, clearly he's going to have to put in a call to Larry "Pants on the Ground" Platt--I mean who better to get out there and demand that kids pull their pants up? Really now.

Bill O'Reilly Shows Blatant Liberal Media Hypocrisy On Protestor Anger

NewsBusters.org:
Last night, Bill O'Reilly used recent instances of inflamed, occasionally violent liberal protests to give his viewers a lesson in Media Bias 101. Lefties dominate the mainstream press, and are reluctant to cover events that don't suit their agendas, he stated.

"The Mainstream media largely ignores crazy stuff generated by the far left because many media types sympathize with liberal politics." It's hard to put it more succinctly than that. NewsBusters has documented numerous instances of the same trend just in the past few days.

O'Reilly showed a number of clips of just the latest instances of leftist political outrage (video and transcript below the fold). He concluded that "One side gets scrutinized. The other side gets a pass. Awful." Indeed, while it seems one can hardly pick up a newspaper or turn on the television without hearing about the horrible, violent racists in the Tea Party movement, there has been relatively little coverage of the left's violence and vitriol.

Father Of Fallen Marine Takes On Military Funeral Protesters

YahooNews.com:
A father of a Marine killed in Iraq says he won't pay the legal fees of a protest group who picketed at his son's funeral in 2006 – at least not until he hears from the US Supreme Court on the matter.

Albert Snyder, whose son, Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, was killed in Iraq, learned Friday that a federal appeals court is requiring him to pay more than $16,000 in legal fees to the Westboro Baptist Church, a Christian fundamentalist group that demonstrates during military funerals to gain attention for its antigovernment, antihomosexual message. The group rallied at Matthew Snyder’s funeral in March 2006 in Westminster, Md., chanting antigay slogans and carrying signs such as “Thank God for dead soldiers,” says Albert Snyder’s attorney, Sean Summers.

The group was protesting about 30 feet from the church’s main entrance, and Mr. Snyder had to enter through a separate entrance, Mr. Summers says.

Snyder subsequently sued the Westboro group for emotional distress and won a $5 million judgment. But on appeal, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed, finding in favor of protecting the protesters' free-speech rights. About three weeks ago, the Supreme Court agreed to take the case and is expected to hear it in the fall. (Last year, the high court had declined to take up the issue.) Meanwhile, the circuit court has ordered Snyder, a salesman, to pay the church’s court expenses.

It's one thing to defend free speech rights, but to make the dad pay for this church's legal fees? Disgraceful decision. However, to be fair, did he have to go to court in the first place? It's probable that seeking harassment charges might have been a better option. At least Mr. Snyder is getting help from Bill O'Reilly and other conservatives.

NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg Slams Obama On Gun Control

NYPost.com:

President Obama is under the gun when it comes to Mayor Bloomberg and his crusade against illegal weapons.

Bloomberg, generally considered a White House ally, put Obama on notice after he fired off a letter to the White House this month where he reportedly accused the president of dragging his feet when it comes to gun control, according to a report today.

In the March 3 letter sent from Bloomberg's coalition, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, the mayor points to a separate report the group sent the Obama administration last August, which laid out 40 recommendations to "improve enforcement of existing gun laws," according to The Huffington Post.

The letter was co-signed by Boston Mayor Tom Menino.

"We appreciate the ... consideration of the report, but this is an urgent matter: further delay will almost certainly result in the needless loss of innocent lives, including many children. Mr. President, the time has come for action," the mayors wrote, according to the letter obtained by The Huffington Post.

The White House did not immediately have a comment in regards to the letter.

One would think that a liberal ideologue like Barry would be on top of this matter, but Americans needed health care reform, not safety from crime.

This Week's Sign Of The Apocalypse: School Kids Reenact "Scarface"

I saw this yesterday and suspected something was fishy due to the "audience" reaction throughout (no way "parents" sit calmly like that and clap while their "kids" reenact scenes from a violent film like "Scarface")...thank goodness it is a fake.

Liberal Code Pink Protesters Shut Down Karl Rove Book Signing

CNN.com:
Former White House chief of staff Karl Rove was heckled and branded a "war criminal' at a book signing in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday night.

Rove, who served as senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to President Bush, was at the Saban Theater to discuss his new book, "Courage and Consequences: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight," to an audience of about 100 people who paid up to $40 to hear him.

But the audience members were unable to get their copies of the book signed after Rove was shouted down and forced to leave the stage, reported CNN affiliate KCAL-TV.

The event was heated from the onset as several anti-war protesters interrupted Rove's talk to accuse him and the Bush administration of lying to Americans about the threat Iraq posed to the United States -- and thus, taking the country into war.

Rove called one heckler a "lunatic." He told another to "get the heck out of here."

At one point, Jodie Evans, the co-founder of the anti-war group Code Pink, rushed toward Rove waving a pair of handcuffs and saying she was there to make a citizen's arrest.

Notice how it takes CNN 6 paragraphs to mention that the protesters are from the violent, radically-Left Code Pink. The same Code Pink whose founder Jodie Frank is an admitted 9/11 Truther and former campaign worker for Barack Obama. Code Pink has long been noted for their violent protests in the name of "peace", but the lamestream media doesn't want you to know about that, instead this article focuses on Rove in a manner that makes it seem that he deserved to be heckled. Funny that.

The Conservative = Violent / Liberal = Non-Violent Myth

In other words, don't believe anything the race card hustling, Obama minions at MSNBC, NBC or CBS tell you. When it coems to "angry rhetoric" conservatives know the truth, we saw it with our own eyes every day during former President Bush's two terms.

Obama Supporter Norman Leboon Threatened To Kill Republican Congressman Eric Cantor

Yes, Leboon threatened Barry/Pelosi/Reid Co., but not to kill them as he did Cantor, he's also on the record as having donated
almost $815 to Obama in the third quarter of 2008:

A Philadelphia man was charged Monday with threatening to kill House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, a week after the Virginia Republican said his campaign office was shot at in the aftermath of the health care bill passing Congress.

Local reports said the bullet that shattered a window at Cantor's office last week turned out to be a stray that had been fired into the air -- but the federal charges filed Monday detailed how Cantor was allegedly threatened in an apparently separate incident.

Norman Leboon, 38, was charged after he allegedly recorded and posted on YouTube a video in which he threatened to kill the congressman and his family.

"My Congressman Eric Cantor, and you and your cupcake evil wife," the video said, according to the complaint. "Remember Eric ... our judgment time, the final Yom Kippur has been given. You are a liar, you're a Lucifer, you're a pig, a greedy f---ing pig, you're an abomination, you receive my bullets in your office, remember they will be placed in your heads. You and your children are Lucifer's abominations."

Cantor's office released a statement saying he was notified of the threat over the weekend and that he was "deeply grateful" to law enforcement for their help.

"Law enforcement officials informed Congressman Cantor that the threat was determined as credible and they were responding accordingly. The congressman was later notified that an arrest was made and a suspect was in custody," the statement said.

According to the complaint, Leboon told the FBI that he made the threatening video, which has been taken down, using the camera on his cell phone. He told authorities he's made 2,000 videos threatening people. He said he made the video early last week, though it's unclear whether it had anything to do with the passage of the health care bill last Sunday.

No doubt the hypocrites on the Left and their minions in the press will refuse to own Leboon as being one of their own, despite the evidence too that he hated Bush. Mind you for all the "angry rhetoric" liberals pols have hurled at Tea Party activists of late, not a single one of them has been arrested for their supposed crimes. Not one. But now here we have a leftwing nutjob arrested for threatening to kill a Republican congressman and his family. Double standard much? But as we all know they'll stop at nothing to deflect from the fact that most Americans want them replaced.

Obama, Liberal Democrats Using Supposed 'Death Threats' For Fundraising

CNN.com:
President Obama's political arm sent a fundraising solicitation Thursday highlighting several death threats against congressional Democrats in the days following Sunday's health care reform vote.

"The attacks are fierce. Deceptive ads are hitting the airwaves in swing districts. GOP lawmakers are pushing to repeal reform – and preventing the Senate from performing basic functions," Organizing for America Director Mitch Stewart writes in the e-mail to supporters. "A few Republican attorneys general have launched a baseless attack to overturn the legislation. But that's not even the worst of it.

He added, "A conservative blogger posted the home address of Congressman Tom Perriello, urging tea partiers to 'drop by.' Other members have had death threats. Democratic offices have been vandalized."

Politico reported Monday that a Tea Party activist in Lynchburg, Virginia, angry over Perriello's vote in favor of health care reform legislation, had posted the address of Perriello's brother online and encouraged other activists to "stop by" and weigh in on the bill. The activist had apparently meant to post the congressman's home address but mistakenly published his brother's.

The FBI and local law enforcement officials are investigating a "suspicious incident" at the home of the Congressman's brother. A line to the propane tank on his brother's gas grill had been "severed," an aide to the Democratic congressman told CNN.

Earlier in day, former Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe released a fundraising e-mail on behalf of Perriello.

They have no shame, but you already knew that.

In Fight With Sarah Palin, Liberal Scum Alan Grayson Smears Former President Bush

Posted at the angry, hypocritical, radically leftwing HuffPo.com:

You can tell a lot about a person by his friends. Howard Dean, Michael Moore, Dennis Kucinich and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz are my friends. And they've all joined our moneybomb at CongressmanWithGuts.com.

And you can tell a lot about a person by his enemies. Sarah Palin came to my district two weeks ago, and told her zombie minions to "take me out." The National Republican Party says that I'm their #1 target in 2010. And now, it's George W. Bush's turn. See for yourself:

But when it comes to George W. Bush, with enemies like that, who needs friends? What's he going to do, attackify me?

First, what's ultimately revealing about this is that Grayson really seems to think that dissing Bush still resonates with most Americans. I mean, sure it worked well from 2006 to '08, but considering that the current President isn't favored by most Americans (even AFTER his "huge" health care "reform" package passed), could it be that there might be SOME legitimacy as to why most American's in today's world are kinda fed up with Congress? Secondly, it's sad that Grayson's so caught in his bitter hate for Republicans that he hasn't been paying attention to what recently went down in Massachusetts, much less New Jersey or Virginia. Then there's the obvious: Palin has proven to be a force to be reckoned with and she has a huge following behind her, underestimating her is not only ass-backwards, but besides being down with the GOP, in a practical sense she and Bush have little in common. Lastly, by smearing Bush this way, not only has Grayson made himself look like even more of a far-Left prick, but considering the classy way Bush has stayed out of the limelight (much less not criticizing Barry) since he left office, one can only imagine that even independents (the real difference makers) in Florida will see this "spoof" as just another stupid, childish and utterly lame move by a snarky liberal who needs to belittle people in order to get his point across.
