Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan returned to jail Friday after a judge ordered her to remain in custody for nearly a month for failing a court-mandated drug test.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox denied bail for Lohan following days of speculation about her fate.
Fox had issued a warrant for Lohan’s arrest earlier this week, compelling her to appear in court Friday morning. Bailiffs handcuffed Lohan immediately after the hearing, which lasted less than 10 minutes at the Beverly Hills courthouse. A second hearing is scheduled for Oct. 22.
