12-Year-Old Jordan Brown To Be Tried As An Adult For Murdering Dad's Fiancee

"A 12-year-old boy accused of shooting his father's pregnant fiancée in her sleep will be tried as an adult -- but the prosecution would be open to the idea of moving him to juvenile court if the child changes his story. Jordan Brown was 11 when state police said he used a youth shotgun to shoot 26-year-old Kenzie Houk in her bed in the family's Wampum home in February 2009. The theory seems to be that Jordan was mad he lost his bedroom to make way for the new baby. And he took the time to try and cover the crime afterwards. And while folks debate an 11yo being tried as an adult for murder, the idea that lil' Jordan was able to get access to a shotgun seems to bother few.
