Barack Obama Bows Down Again....This Time To Japanese Emperor

LATimes.com:

How low will the new American president go for the world's royalty?

This photo will get Democrat President Obama a lot of approving nods in Japan this weekend, especially among the older generation of Japanese who still pay attention to the royal family living in its downtown castle. Very low bows like this are a sign of great respect and deference to a superior.

To some in the United States, however, an upright handshake might have looked better. Remember Michelle Obama casually patting Britain's Queen Elizabeth on the back during their Buckingham Palace visit? America's royalty tends to make movies and get bad reviews and lots of money as a sign of respect.

Seriously, what with the economy getting worse and worse, Barry's lies on healthcare reform, his socialist agenda, liberal policies, disregard for American security, narcissism, inexperience, broken campaign promises, continually breaking protocol and bowing down to world leaders....the list goes on and on--can someone please bring out the Impeach Obama petition already? Even if it means making Joe Biden president, the disgrace that is Barack Obama needs to go.

Glenn Beck's Special On Black Conservatives In America

Could've been a little more organized and Beck's constant use of the term "African American" made me cringe (always hated that term), but overall a great job by FOX and Beck to showcase a voice that almost never gets a chance to be heard via the white, liberal media. Us Black folks aren't supposed to be conservative, yunno.

Former Democrat Congressman William Jefferson Sentenced To 13 Years

Nola.com:
Former Rep. William Jefferson was sentenced today to 13 years in prison for his conviction on 11 counts of public corruption in a case in which he famously hid $90,000 in his freezer.

U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III delivered the sentence at a packed courtroom in the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Va. Prosecutors had asked for 27 to 33 years in prison, while Jefferson's lawyers said the prison term should be less than 10 years.

Jefferson stood stoically as the sentence was read, showing little emotion.

Ellis said that Jefferson, a New Orleans Democrat who served nine terms in Congress, must surrender at the federal correctional facility ultimately selected for his incarceration by the Bureau of Prisons.
Prosecutors had asked for 27 years, the Defense less than 10. The judge also the forfeiture of $470,653.47 to the government. Jefferson and his wife filed for bankruptcy recently and he owes his lawyers are owed $5.7 million. What a disgrace.

Barack Obama Doesn't Care About American Security, To Try Terrorists In N.Y. Civil Court

NYTimes.com:
Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the self-described mastermind of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and four other men accused in the plot will be prosecuted in federal court in New York City, the United States attorney general announced Friday.

But the administration will prosecute another set of high-profile detainees now being held at the military prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba — Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, who is accused of planning the 2000 bombing of the Navy destroyer Cole in Yemen, and four other detainees — before a military commission.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said he would seek the death penalty against the five defendants if they are found guilty in federal court.

He announced those decisions in a news conference Friday at the Department of Justice. The arrangements would mean that civilian prosecutors would handle those detainees accused of the 2001 terrorist attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, northern Virginia and Pennsylvania, while the 2000 attack against the Cole would remain within the military system.

Another example of what happens when you let liberals steer the wheel. They're more concerned about what the ACLU thinks instead of worrying about the security of Americans. Unbelievable too that A.G. Holder would be so insensitive to the families and friends of the victims of 9/11 to have these murderous scum shipped off for trials right in their backyard. God forbid one of these terrorists goes free on some sort of "technicality" then Barry's ass will really be on the line.

Ann Coulter Takes on Sarah Palin-Bashing Media on CBS Early Show

NewsBusters.org:
Appearing on Friday’s CBS Early Show to discuss the release of Sarah Palin’s book, ‘Going Rogue,’ author Ann Coulter told co-host Harry Smith: “[John] McCain...was the media’s favorite Republican. So any criticism his side made of Palin was instantly printed and now we finally get the pay back. And I’m looking forward to it.”

Coulter made the comment after Smith asked about “the tension and the conflict between” the former vice presidential candidate and the McCain campaign. He went on to remark that Palin “represents a kind of orthodoxy within the Republican Party.” Coulter replied: “I’d put it a little differently....I would say she is an authentic American the way most members of the media are not, that certainly Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd do not represent the average American.”

Sounds like Jessica Lynch all over again. Wonder if all the far-Right sites who drooled over Sgt. Munley will give Sgt. Todd the same amount of love? I highly doubt it.

Carrie Prejean Threatens To Leave Larry King Live Due to Larry Being "Inappropriate"

Honestly, Carrie could've answered the question. Larry King is a liberal sympathizer, but any journalist with a reporter's acumen would've thought their audience had a right to know how is it that she ended up settling with the Miss California USA pageant campaign after all that recent drama between them went down.

Lou Dobbs Leaves CNN

The money quote is: "Over the past 6 months its become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and effecting all of us. And some leaders and media in politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role here at CNN and to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positively to a better understanding of the great issues of our day. And to continue to do so in the most honest and direct way possible."

Not that this is a reach, but I predict that you'll next be seeing Lou Dobbs on the No. 1 cable news network....FOX. And if so, good for him.

Obama Blocking Investigation Of Fort Hood Massacre?

Newsmax.com:
Finger-pointing erupted between federal agencies Tuesday over Fort Hood shooting suspect Nidal Hasan. Government officials said a Defense Department terrorism investigator looked into Hasan's contacts with a radical imam months ago, but a military official denied prior knowledge of the Army psychiatrist's contacts with any Muslim extremists.

The two government officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case on the record, said the Washington-based joint terrorism task force overseen by the FBI was notified of communications between Hasan and a radical imam overseas, and the information was turned over to a Defense Criminal Investigative Service employee assigned to the task force. The communications were gathered by investigators beginning in December 2008 and continuing into early this year.

That Defense investigator wrote up an assessment of Hasan after reviewing the communications and the Army major's personnel file, according to these officials. The assessment concluded Hasan did not merit further investigation _ in large part because his communications with the imam were centered on a research paper about the effects of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan and the investigator determined that Hasan was in fact working on such a paper, the officials said.

The disclosure came as questions swirled about whether opportunities were missed to head off the massacre in which 13 died and 29 were wounded last Thursday _ a familiar, early stage in the investigation of headline-grabbing crimes when public officials involved in a case often speak anonymously as they try to shift any blame to rivals in other agencies.

The disclosure Tuesday of the defense investigator's role indicated that the U.S. military was aware of worrisome behavior by the massacre suspect long before the attack. Just hours later, a senior defense official, also demanding anonymity, directly contradicted that notion.

Guess I was wrong about Nidal Hasan motivations for this slaughter being linked to rising frustration over being deployed again overseas. More and more info is coming out linking Hasan to Al Qaeda and some of the 9/11 hijackers. How Barry deals with this very troubling prospect will be very interesting.

Massachusettes Christian, Peter Vadala, Fired For Belief In Traditional Marriage

Just like Barack Obama, Peter Vadala believes that marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman. But while Obama keeps his job, despite their shared beliefs,
Peter Vadala lost his:

A manager at a Massachusetts retail store claims he was unjustly fired after he told a colleague he thought her impending marriage to another woman was wrong.

Peter Vadala, 24, told FoxNews.com he was terminated in August from his position as second deputy manager at a Brookstone store at Boston's Logan Airport after a conversation he had with a manager from another Brookstone store who was visiting the location.

Vadala claims the woman, whom he declined to identify, mentioned four times that she had married her partner. He said he then left the store briefly to visit the airport's chapel before returning.

"I found it offensive that she repeatedly brought it up," Vadala said. "By the fourth time she mentioned it, I felt God wanted me to express how I felt about the matter, so I did. But my tone was downright apologetic. I said, 'Regarding your homosexuality, I think that's bad stuff.'"

The woman, according to Vadala, then said, "Human resources, buddy — keep your opinions to yourself," before exiting the store.

Two days later, Vadala, who had been employed for just a matter of weeks, received a termination letter citing the company's zero-tolerance policy regarding "harassment" and "inappropriate and unprofessional" comments.

"In the state of Massachusetts, same-sex marriage is legal and there will be people with whom you work with who have fiancées or spouses who are the same gender," the Aug. 12 letter read. "... While you are entitled to your own beliefs, imposing them upon others in the workplace is not acceptable and in this case, by telling a colleague that she is deviant and immoral, constitutes discrimination and harassment."

This is another example of what the world will come to with liberals holding the keys to the ignition on policies and agenda setting in this country. Unless conservatives stand up and fight for the Peter Vadala's (I hope he has the good sense to hire a lawyer to fight this BS) of the world, something as basic as sharing an opinion will be condemned as "hate" and thus warrant fines, loss of jobs and/or imprisonment. It's that serious out there folks.

Carrie Prejean Talks New Book "Still Standing", Sex Tape

Listen, 17-year-olds making sex tapes is pretty stupid and scary (esp. for all of you parents out there with daughters), but she's not pointing fingers, takes on full responsibility and to repeat, she never said she was perfect. Then too, since when is it un-conservativelike to do something foolish? The Left will continue to attack and smear conservative women for refusing to toe the line on what women should say and do, but we all know that their refusal to accept views that differs from theirs make them the real hypocrites.

Michael Steele: 'White Republicans Have Been Scared Of Me'

Politico.com:

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Sunday that he has been in rooms with white Republicans who are “scared” of him.

Responding during a interview to TV One’s Roland Martin, who said that “white Republicans have been scared of black folks,” Steele replied: “You’re absolutely right.”

“I’ve been in the room and they’ve been scared of me,” said Steele, the first African-American RNC chairman. “I’m like, ‘I’m on your side.’”

Asked how Republicans can better reach black voters, Steele said the party needs to focus on “education and the economy” and credited Governors-elect Chris Christie in New Jersey and Bob McDonnell in Virginia for running a message that could appeal to black voters.

Even if Michael Steele truly feels this way, I don't get how it benefits the party he's supposed to be chairing to say it out loud, much less to an Obama stan like Roland Martin. The GOP is already sensitive to politically-based charges of racism from the Left (most of which turn out to be untrue), they're in the congressional minority and there's still plenty of infighting going on between conservatives and moderates Republicans. Steele's job as RNC chair is to help unite the party, speak on its agenda and get funding, not engage in racial red herrings. Sometimes I guess he forgets that it was "white Republicans" who elected him RNC chair in the first place.

Gay Mafia Seeks To Get Hardworking NYC Cab Driver Fired

To think during the Obama Depression one could sympathize with a man making a living driving a cab 50 hours a week to support his family, but not when you cross the Gay Mafia:

THIS man does not deserve to be treated like a crim inal.

Cabby Medhat Mohamed is the new poster boy for sexual intolerance in this libertine city. He's been branded by Council Speaker Christine Quinn as potentially the biggest bigot ever to scar the populace. Mayor Bloomberg labeled the distressed driver a "disgrace."

Mohamed faces the indignity of having his cab license yanked by the Taxi and Limousine Commission. He's already lost his job.

But Medhat Mohamed is no bigot, and he's not a disgrace.

He's also not a prude, a gay basher, a homophobe or the more colorful invective that's been lobbed in his direction by a chorus of yuppies with a large bone to pick.

All Mohamed did, he insists, was ask a gay couple to halt their hot-and-heavy antics in the back of his taxi. When they refused, he asked them to leave.

Mohamed says the couple's behavior was so distracting, he feared he might have an accident.

And now, after all the noise and bother, he would kick them out again.

"Losing your job, or losing your life -- which one is better?" he told me.

New York City cab drivers have a hard enough time making a living as it is, putting up with a low salary, often reckless bicycle messengers, traffic laws, stopping for jaywalkers/pedestrians, insane Taxi & Limousine Commission fines, etc. Regardless of who's in the back seat, it's a perfectly reasonable request to ask two people in the back of your cab to stop going at it, especially since safety should always be the cabby's priority. Folks need to rally around Medhat Mohamed.

Former "Lesbian" Playboy Model Stephanie Adams Is About To Marry A....Man

Zimbio.com:
Stephanie Adams was the first Playmate to call herself a lesbian when she became Miss November 1992 for the men's mag, but, she's just announced her engagement, to a man!

She was named the "best NYC lesbian sex symbol" in 2004, and now she's playing for the other team.
She told the New York Post, "I would like for his privacy to remain intact, but I will say that I intend to retire from being a public persona so that we can settle down and have children. Life is good, I have no regrets for anything."

Stephanie has been a long-time gay rights advocate, and has her own web site all about it. She also wrote 17 metaphysical books and 4 astrology calendars.
Of course, while they're still searching for the mysterious "gay gene", the homo defenders will say that Adams could just be "bisexual" (which I guess she didn't realize all those years she was calling herself a lesbian). Either way it's probably just "homophobes" like me (and in Maine as well as Cali) who don't believe that "rights" are gained by who you decide to sleep with.

Mike Huckabee Interviews Former Planned Parenthood Employee Abby Johnson

Amazing. But then too I've heard stories from real women about how Planned Parenthood literally pressured them to just have an abortion without informing first of all their options. They're a billion-dollar business for a reason.

Black Liberals Finally Waking Up To Obama's White, Liberal Agenda

AFP:
Decrying Barack Obama as "white power in black face," hundreds of African-Americans marched on the White House Saturday to protest policies of the first black US president, and demand that he bring US troops home.

More than 200 people gathered for the first public demonstration by African Americans against the Obama administration since his historic inauguration in January, and slammed the president for continuing what they described as Washington's "imperialist" agenda around the world.

"We recognize that Barack Hussein Obama is white power in black face," civil rights activist Omali Yeshitela, chairman of the Black is Back coalition which arranged the protest, called into a megaphone as the group marched outside the mansion's gates.

"He is a tool of our imperialist enemies and we demand our freedom. And we demand that Obama withdraw all the troops from Afghanistan right now."

Protesters also called for Obama to order troops out of Iraq and to scrap Africom, the controversial year-old United States Africa Command, and demanded "hands off" Venezuela and ends to the Cuba embargo and the Zimbabwe blockade.

Wow! Who knew? Black lefties finally waking up to the fact that Barack Obama isn't as "Black" or concerned about Black people as they liked to think. They should've added hasn't addressed Black-on-Black crime, white gays exploiting the civil rights movement, Black joblessness (which has increased more than the national average since Barry took office), poverty, teenage pregnancy, drugs & crime in the Black community to the list. Either way took 'em long enough to wake up to what us Black conservatives have known all along.

House Of Representatives Approves Health Care Reform Measure

CNN.com:
The House of Representatives on Saturday night passed a sweeping health care bill by a vote of 220-215.

With the passage of H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, proponents of health care reform took an important step forward, but turning the bill into law remains uncertain.

It's unclear when the Senate will vote on a version of the health care legislation debated in that chamber. If the Senate passes its bill, the House and Senate bills would have to be reconciled into one document and voted on again.

The House Democrats needed 218 votes to ensure passage of the bill. On Saturday, it appeared the vote would come down to the wire, as the intentions of some conservative Democrats remained unknown.

In the final tally, 219 Democrats voted for the legislation, and 39 voted against it.

Rep. Joe Cao (R-Louisiana) was the only Republican who voted in favor of the bill.

Sometimes I wonder if all this hoopla over healthcare reform is about benefiting Americans or just stamping Obama's legacy. From what I've read many of Barry supporters on the Left have no clue what's in either the House or Senate version of the bill (here's a good start for those not in the know), which further makes one wonder just how much of an "urgent" need healthcare reform is in this day and age. And while I'm glad conservative Democrats argued for and got an anti-abortion amendment added to the House bill, frankly, I still don't see the urgency here. Regardless, no way Harry Reid has enough votes in the Senate to get this "reform" on Barry's desk to sign anytime soon anyway.
