Levi Johnston To Pose For Playgirl

Levi Johnston the baby daddy of Sarah Palin's grandson, is looking forward to his photo spread in "Playgirl," but he promises to "keep it classy."

In an interview with Star magazine hitting stands nationally Friday, Johnston said he hasn't yet decided whether he will pose fully, frontally nude in an upcoming photo shoot for Playgirl.

"I don't know. I'm going to decide that on the fly. I want to keep it classy. I don't want to do something I'll regret," the hockey hunk said.

Johnston fathered Tripp with Bristol Palin, daughter of the ex-Alaska governor, but their engagement ended in rancor.

Since then, Johnston has capitalized on the notoriety by exposing what he claims is Palin family dirty laundry.

And now, he is taking exposure to another level. Levi said he's exercising in preparation for the photo shoot, specifically his back side.

But he said he isn't nervous about posing naked. "What's to be nervous about? I guess some people would be nervous to pose nude, but I'm not," he said.

"I'm ready to do it. I'm feeling confident. I've got nothing to hide."

Balloon Boy's Mom Comes Clean

The wife of a Colorado father at the center of the "balloon boy" saga told authorities that the giant helium balloon was specifically created for a hoax to draw media attention, according to court documents released Friday.

Mayumi Heene told Larimer County investigators that she and her husband, Richard Heene, knew that their 6-year-old son Falcon was hiding at their Fort Collins home the entire time, even as police and military scrambled to search for the boy, according to the documents.

The admission by Mayumi Heene was made October 17, just two days after the balloon was released, according to the documents.

The Heenes initially told authorities that they believed their child had flown away on the balloon, and when the balloon landed without him, they expressed concern that he may have fallen out of the device.

The couple hatched the plan about two weeks before the incident and "instructed their three children to lie to authorities as well as the media regarding this hoax," according to the documents.

Their motive? To "make the Heene family more marketable for future media interests."

The irony here is that Mr. & Mrs. Heene have different lawyers, so it looks to me like Mrs. Henne sold her husband out....possibly for the good of the kids, possibly because she doesn't want to get in trouble with child custody laws. Who knows. Either way, it still says a lot about the state of our media that they fell for this crazy hoax to begin with.

Seven people pleaded guilty for their part in abusing Megan Williams -- but now Williams says that abuse never happened.

She will hold a press conference Wednesday in Columbus, Ohio, to recant her claims of abuse, attorney Byron L. Potts, who represents Williams, told The Charleston Gazette on Tuesday night.

"She has decided she has been living this lie for approximately two years and she has decided to tell the truth," Potts said. "She fabricated the story and she did this in retaliation because she was having a relationship with one of them."

But former Logan County prosecutor Brian Abraham, who was in charge of the case, said no one ever went to jail because of Williams' statements.

Instead, Abraham said Tuesday night, he decided early in the case not to rely on Williams' statements, but on the physical evidence and the statements of the co-defendants.

"It's ironic to me that today she's saying she made all this up. At the time she was criticizing me for offering them plea agreements," Abraham said.

"This isn't to rejuvenate her 15 minutes of fame, but to regurgitate her 15 minutes of fame. Is she proposing to give back all the donations she got?"

Like the Duke Lacrosse Fake Rape Case and the Tawana Brawley Hoax before that, another young, Black woman makes the national headlines claiming she was raped and ends up as a fraud. Of course, false claims of rape not only hurt the cases of real victims of sexual violence, but for the race hustlers on the Left (who incidentally, in the case of the controversial New Black Panther Party, exploited Megan Williams' lie for their own personal gain by funding her defense), how foolish does that egg on your face look after you're once again caught out there trying to make hay with no meat? Rosie O'Donnell has confirmed to Lifeline Live that she and partner Kelli Carpenter, 42, are on the rocks.

In an interview at her Nyack, N.Y., compound Tuesday, USA TODAY's Ann Oldenburg asked if the two had split -- she has been hinting at it in her blog -- and O'Donnell didn't deny it, saying, "We're a family. We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues."

O'Donnell, 47, wouldn't go into detail about whether Carpenter had moved out of their Nyack home and into Manhattan, as the National Enquirer reported in August. (She was not around during the interview.)

"We're a family, we remain a family and we're working on the issues," O'Donnell reiterated, noting that there are four children whose well-being comes before anything. The couple married in San Francisco in 2004 and have three adopted children -- Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12 and Blake, 9, as well as Vivienne ("Vivi"), 6, whom Carpenter carried.

First of all, they're not "married". California didn't allow "gay marriage" back in 2004. Sarah Palin To Appear On Oprah Winfrey Show

Sarah Palin is going to sit down with Oprah Winfrey.

Harpo Productions announced Tuesday that the former governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential candidate will appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Monday, Nov. 16.

According to Harpo, the interview will be Palin’s first about her new book, “Going Rogue: An American Life,” and it will be the first time Palin and Winfrey will meet.

Palin’s book was No. 4 on Amazon.com’s best-seller list on Tuesday. It’s slated to be released Tuesday, Nov. 17, the day after Palin’s interview with Winfrey.

Don't know why anyone would be surprised at this. Palin's got a book to sell and where better to plug it than on Oprah? Then too, despite Queen Oprah's tremendous assistance in getting the Liar-In-Chief elected president, even Oprah knows that Palin brings in ratings. All in all, it's just good business.

Democrat Senator Hiram Monserrate Convicted Of Assault On Girlfriend

State Sen. Hiram Monserrate was cleared of the most serious charges against him in the assault of his girlfriend Thursday - but he still faces the wrath of his fellow lawmakers.

Queens Supreme Court Justice William Erlbaum acquitted Monserrate of felony charges of slashing girlfriend Karla Giraldo with a broken glass, but convicted him of misdemeanor assault. He faces up to a year in jail, but can hang onto his Senate seat.

Within minutes of the verdict, Republicans flat out called for Monserrate's resignation - and embarrassed Democrats vowed to punish the controversial Queens pol.

"I was praying that [expletive deleted] would get convicted and he would be gone," one furious Democratic senator said.

Sen. Martin Golden (R-Brooklyn) said that "if ouster is an option . . . it should be seriously considered."

"It's an assault against a woman," he said. "I would hope he would just step aside and move on, but I know better. He ain't going anywhere."

Monserrate said nothing about quitting the Legislature after the verdict.

Monserrate's verdict is another hit for the sorry state that is the Democrat party. Monserrate not only abuses women (where's the National Organization for Women on this?), but he had a starring role in this summer's Senate coup, double-crossing both parties and throwing the chamber into chaos for a month. Granted, Monserrate is getting tons of heat from fellow Dems to resign, but he's already said he won't and why should he? After all, with the cesspool that is the current state of the Democrat party, corrupt pols like Monserrate fit right in.

Former mayor Rudy Giuliani warned Sunday that crime rates could soar to 1990s levels and the city could again be a victim of terrorism if Mayor Bloomberg doesn't win reelection.

Giuliani's dire predictions came during a tag-team campaign swing - the first time Bloomberg has tapped the one-time GOP star for help on the stump this election season.

"This city could very easily be taken back in a very different direction," Giuliani told a crowd of ultra-Orthodox Jews at a breakfast sponsored by Brooklyn's Borough Park Jewish Community Council. "It could very easily be taken back to the way it was with the wrong political leadership. Politics is important. It's important to our safety. It's important to our security."

It's all about strategy folks. Giuliani wants that NY Governor's post next year. A Bloomberg win (which is highly likely considering the size of Mayor Mike's bank) come November and keeping his mug in the papers will certainly help Rudy reach his goal.

MSNBC uber-dork Keith Olbermann has done it again. The cable channel's principal pontificator -- in naming syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin "the worst person in the world" on Wednesday night -- blasted her "total mindless, morally bankrupt, knee-jerk, fascistic hatred, without which Michelle Malkin would just be a mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it."

AirAmerica.com blogger Megan Carpentier found Olbermann's remarks more than slightly misogynistic, and said, "By attacking Michelle Malkin's politics with an assault on women of every political persuasion, and then indicating a desire to see her physically harmed, a person might understandably get the idea that Keith Olbermann only respects women if they agree with him." Maybe not even then.

This isn't the first time that Krazy Keith has been attacked by his own band of ideologists. Even the Kos kids have gotten tired of his act in the past, more recently the leftwing Gawker. Bottom line, Keith Olbermann hates women...well except for Rachel Maddow, because she's a lesbian, therefore no one on the Left can possibly hate her.

Arianna Huffington Calls For Joe Biden's Resignation

It's the "principle" of the thing and we all know what a principled guy Joe Biden is, right?

During George W. Bush's presidency, Vice President Dick Cheney was often portrayed as the hawk behind the wars that were launched in Iraq and Afghanistan. The old White House is a contrast to the new one where Vice President Joe Biden is apparently the dove for peace behind President Barack Obama as Obama tries to decide whether or not to escalate the war in Afghanistan. That's according to numerous news sources, including a Newsweek article that caught the attention of Arianna Huffington, columnist/publisher of the left-leaning Huffington Post Web site.

She writes today that "if the president decides to escalate, Biden, for the good of the country, should escalate his willingness to act on his 'deep reservations' and resign."

Giving reasons why Biden ought to resign, she continues: "Generations to come will be grateful if he does, instead of following the pattern of 'opposition' we've become all-too-accustomed to. You know the drill: after the dust settles, the mea-culpa-laden books start to come out, and suddenly we hear how forceful this or that official was behind closed doors, arguing against the war, then going home each night distraught at the unnecessary loss of life. Well, how about making the mea culpa unnecessary? Instead of saving it for the book, Biden can unfetter his conscience when it can actually do some good for the country."

Huffington notes that the Newsweek profile highlights Biden's role as a "team player" in the White House, noting that he initially dissented on how to handle the conflict in Afghanistan, but "quickly got on board."

Writes Huffington: "I have no doubt that Joe Biden is a loyal guy -- the question is who deserves his loyalty most? His 'team' isn't the White House, but the whole country. And if it becomes clear in the coming days that his loyalty to these two teams is in conflict, he should do the right thing. And quit."
