Michael Moore Hopes Hurricane Gustavo Comes Down On GOP Convention

You would think that this asswipe would've learn his lesson from '04 (when his anti-Bushfest Fahrenheit 9/11 helped President Bush get a second term by galvanizing GOP voters to come out and beat John Kerry), but he's too stupid for that:

He said what? Political hothead Michael Moore apparently thinks God is a Democrat - and a vicious one at that.

The confrontational filmmaker put his foot in his mouth on a Friday night appearance on Keith Olbermann's "Countdown" on MSNBC when he made a quip about Hurricane Gustav, which has been bearing down on New Orleans.

"I was just thinking this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven," Moore said. "To have it planned at the same time. I mean, yes, it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for day one of the Republican convention." A spokesman for John McCain called the remark "terrible"

Once again proof surfaces regarding the hypocrisy of liberals, the self-identified "tolerant" wing and their apologists in the media, Of course, Moore would never have to worry about a hurricane harming him, his rolls of fat would no doubt protect him from harm or at the very least his million-dollar condo in New York. What a buffoon.

Desperate Liberals Diss Sarah Palin By Defending Wife Beater Michael Wooten

Sarah Palin is now officially the presumptive Republican candidate for Vice President, so like night follows day, the rabid attacks by the Left to try and smear her have already begun: she has
no experience (yeah, we all know governors of states don't do squat but sit in their offices making paper planes all day, just ask Eliot Spitzer), Palin hates women because she's pro-life (I'm not even trying to touch the sheer insanity behind that one), before today John McCain only met her once (ok, I'll give the libs that one as it doesn't look too good and it certainly gives way to charges of tokenism by the Left) and finally the retread kicker: Palin isn't as squeaky clean as the GOP stumps her because under investigation by the Attorney General's office:

The July firing of Alaska Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan by Gov. Sarah Palin, who was announced as John McCain's running mate on Friday, has unearthed a stream of soap-opera-like details about Palin, her husband, her family and top state appointees. The controversy has also cut against Palin's reputation for holding an ethical line and standing up to colleagues in the Republican Party over matters of principle.

Monegan, 57, a respected former chief of the Anchorage Police Department, said in an interview with The Washington Post's James V. Grimaldi on Friday that the governor repeatedly brought up the topic of her ex-brother-in-law, Michael Wooten, after Monegan became the state's commissioner of public safety in December 2006. Palin's husband, Todd, met with Monegan and presented a dossier of information about Wooten, who was going through a bitter custody battle with Palin's sister, Molly. Monegan also said Sarah Palin sent him e-mails on the subject, but Monegan declined to disclose them, saying he planned to give them to a legislative investigator looking into the matter.

Palin initially denied that she or anyone in her administration had ever pressured Monegan to fire the trooper, but this summer acknowledged more than a half a dozen contacts over the matter, including one phone call from a Palin administration official to a state police lieutenant.
Yeah, the police were probably being contacted because Palin's ex-brother-in-law, Michael Wooten, was beating her sister, literally tasering her nephew and threatening to kill the governor's father. Indeed, divorce documents can testify to the fact that Wooten, admitted to shooting his own stepson with a stun gun. Wooten, whose also been known to drive around drunk while on duty and kill moose's without a permit, was repeatedly reported to the cops for his misdeeds, but there was no proper response by authorities until Alaskan troopers investigated and gave Wooten a 5-day suspension. Yeah, Michael Wooten: child abuser, wife beater and now a hero to the lunatic Left.

My Guess Is John McCain Will Pick Tim Pawlenty For VP

Supposedly, John McCain has settled on his pick for Vice-President:
Sen. John McCain has decided on his running mate and will inform the person Thursday night, sources close to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee said. A Republican source said the matter was settled at a meeting of McCain's advisers Wednesday.

Plans are in place for the senator from Arizona to reveal his pick for the GOP vice presidential nominee at an Ohio rally Friday, the day after Sen. Barack Obama formally accepts the Democratic presidential nomination.

The McCain campaign is hoping to have 15,000 people at the Ohio event, roughly five times the size of his largest crowd to date.

Personally, I feel that John McCain will win the presidency come November no matter who he selects as his VP. I don't think that most voters, esp. moderates and independents, would ever feel at ease with the idea of leaving our country in the hands of a one-term senator with a highly liberal bent. But McCain and his handlers are still concerned by their relationship with the Rush Limbaugh-right, even if they shouldn't be. So my guess is that McCain will turn his back on the wishy-washy Mitt Romney as well as the relatively unknown Sarah Palin (tho she's still my favorite) and even his pal Joe Lieberman, and go with the decidedly conservative Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, who represents a fresh, young face, like McCain he wants to fight climate change and Pawlenty is from a state McCain needs to win come November. Granted, Pawlenty is also relatively unknown outside Minnesota, but if he's picked he'd certainly appease the far-Right.

The White, Liberal Elite Nominates Barack Obama For President

In case you hadn't heard, the Democrat party nominated a half-black man for president tonight:
On a historic night for America, Barack Obama secured the Democratic Party's nomination for president and emerged for the first time on stage in Denver with running mate Sen. Joe Biden.

Obama on Wednesday officially became the first African American to lead a major party ticket.

Delegates cried and cheered as former rival Sen. Hillary Clinton motioned to cut the roll call vote short, saying "Let's declare together with one voice right here, right now, that Barack Obama is our candidate and he will be our president."

The dramatic move was carefully choreographed to put down any fears of a divided party following the protracted primary battle.
Barack Obama is nothing but a tool, the final manuever for the white, liberal elites who control the Democrat party to get over their decades-long guilt complex concerning racism-- by nominating a half-white man with no chance of winning, for president. Indeed, it's proving to be the greatest feel-good moment for blacks in this country in quite awhile. But in the grand scheme of things tonight's nomination represents nothing but a step backwards for Black America because Barack Obama does not stand for the wants and needs of Blacks, he reps for white liberals and his record more than proves it.

On his way to winning the Democrat nomination Barack Obama rarely spoke about crime, broken homes, poverty, drugs or other issues that have long been plaguing the Black community as a whole. Besides that Blacks are by nature conservative, most do not support abortion or gay marriage--the two issues the white, liberal elite have pushed to the forefront of the Democratic party's agenda. So by pushing a half-white man, a first-term senator nonetheless with little political experience to run for President, white liberals, who've done nothing for blacks but exploit their vote by visiting their churches come election time while making grandiose promises and tossing them band-aid social programs whenever they threw fits, can pat themselves on the back again and lift the racial monkey off their backs for good. In other words, they've nominated a half-black man for President, who cares if he's a tool, he's still black, right? Now STFU.

Michelle Malkin vs. 9/11 Truther Alex Jones

This stuff is funny. And yeah, Jones is an obvious nutcase, but he clearly didn't threaten Malkin, whose book defending the WWII Japanese Internment was a complete wackjob no matter how you slice it.

Obama-Biden Is The Most Liberal Ticket Ever

It's a fact. The Barack Obama-Joe Biden is the most liberal ticket ever, as proven by the non-partisan
National Journal:

This from a man who promises to "unite" the country? Yet, only a third of this country identifies themselves as being "liberal". By picking Joe Biden, the third most liberal senator in all of Congress, to be his VP isn't Barack Obama clearly sending the message that he is only interested in serving the interests of his base? How is that for uniting.

Joe Biden Doesn't Even Know Barack Obama's Name

Politico.com:
Sen. Joe Biden’s gotten a lot of unsolicited advice on how to curb his gaffe habit, but he might start by practicing his running mate’s name.

Three times during his inaugural speech as
Barack Obama’s vice presidential candidate Saturday, Biden butchered Obama’s name — in different ways. Biden called Obama “Barackal Bama” and “Barack Obaman,” as well as — perhaps most bizarre — “Barack America.”

Obama, by his own admission, has a “funny name,” and Biden did get it right at least a dozen times in his speech.

But the mispronunciations did not go unnoticed.
The campaign cleaned up the “Barackal” and “Obaman” slips in what it billed as a “verbatim” transcript of the speech sent out shortly after Biden wrapped up. And it replaced the “America” in “Barack America” with an ellipsis.
Well Biden is 65, so he should be forgiven for a mental lapse or two or three. Plus most people feel that attacking a political candidate's age is akin to ageism and only liberals do that.
