In what he called a "defining moment for our nation," Sen. Barack Obama on Tuesday became the first African-American to head the ticket of a major political party. That's because she's taking it to Denver or as far as the spineless Democratic will allow her to. You see, unlike most black liberal dupes, I've always seen the Clinton's for who they truly are: ruthless, power-hungry, scumbags who'll use or destroy anyone who gets in their way. Indeed, starting with Bill playing the sax on "Arsenio" to Slick Willie's passing of the racist Crime Bill to the mysterious disappearance of Ron Brown to Billary's racially divisive tactics on the campaign train here in '08 and you'll see that the Clinton's have been shrewdly playing Blacks for their votes for years while offering little in return. Yet, if it wasn't for a Black man running for President this year, black liberals would still be licking the Clinton's boots.
Obama's steady stream of superdelegate endorsements, combined with the delegates he received from Tuesday's primaries, put him past the 2,118 threshold, CNN projects.
"Tonight we mark the end of one historic journey with the beginning of another -- a journey that will bring a new and better day to America," he said.
Obama's rally was at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota -- the same arena which will house the 2008 Republican National Convention in September.
Speaking in New York, Sen. Hillary Clinton, congratulated Obama for his campaign, but she did not concede the race nor discuss the possibility of running as vice president."This has been a long campaign, and I will be making no decisions tonight," she said.
And yeah, personally there's no way I'm voting for the most liberal senator in Congress anyway. But want Barack to lose to John McCain based on the view that most Americans still share conservative ideals, not out of spite from racist Hillary Clinton supporters. Too bad that just isn't going to happen. Hillary Clinton felt from the very beginning that this was her year, ever since Al Gore lost to George W. Bush in 2000, Bill and Hillary Clinton have made it there business to return to the White House. And considering how much the Clinton's ego and their supporters feel that they've done for Blacks in America, there's no way they're going to let a young, Black, junior Senator from Illinois ruin their chances, even if it means sacrificing their party. That's why Al Gore needs to take a break from profiting from his all climate change lies, step in this cesspool and call out the Clinton's for who they are. It was Gore who had the guts to distance himself from Monica Lewinsky's boyfriend (despite his still-favorable ratings) back in 2000 while on the campaign trail for President. It is Gore who still amasses the most respect, stature and influence within the Democratic party. If he has any guts Al Gore will step in and put an end to the tyranny of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
