Howard Dean: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age:
59

Birthplace: Town of East Hampton, New York

Claim To Fame: former governor of Vermont and current chairman of the DNC

Why’s He’s The Dumbest Liberal of the Week: for using secular theology in a public speech earlier this week. At a gathering of Jewish leaders, while advocating for prayer teams in public schools, Dean said that there are no impediments for anyone to go to heaven.

His statement was a call for inclusion to the “evangelical” and Jewish groups in the Democratic party. Dean, in attempting show differences between the Republican and Democratic parties, said “that there are no bars to heaven for anybody.” Of course, this kind of “God loves everybody no matter what you do” dogma is typical of liberals who seem to think that seeking forgiveness or following the words of the Bible are a waste of time and effort.

But Dean, who often invokes his brand of religion in his public tirades, should be ashamed of himself for making a statement that when it comes down to it, ridicules Christianity. Yet, coming from Dean we shouldn’t be surprised. After all this is the same man who once characterized Republicans as “religiously and racially exclusive” vs. the inclusion found in the Democratic Party. Any wonder why Dean’s 2004 Presidential-run turned out to be such a flop? It’s because outside of Vermont he’s viewed as nothing but a moron.
