Bill Clinton Keeps Playing The Gender Card

The former Adulterer-in-Chief chimes in with more excuses for his poor wife:

With all the sniping that ensued over Senator Hillary Clinton’s suggestion that her male rivals for the Democratic nomination were “piling on” her during the Oct. 30 debate, you’d think her campaign would’ve retired that theme.

But her strategist-in-chief, Bill Clinton, was at it again today.

“It’s a great time to be a Democrat,” Mr. Clinton told more than 800 students and supporters at Trident Technical College in South Carolina, according to The Associated Press. “Even though those boys have been getting tough on her lately, she can handle it."

Sorry Slick, but your wife's lackluster showings of late has nothing to do with her gender. It has to do with the fact that the two other candidates for the Democratic nominee for President have not been scared off by a liberal press that has long made Hillary out to be the winner. Ever since she declared herself a candidate for Prez the liberal press has showered Hillary with positive coverage, paving as smooth a road as possible for the chance at making "history", yunno, that "first female president" crap. Yet, showing themselves once again to be hypocrites, the minute Hillary faces some hard questioning, her camp plays the victim card, almost suggesting that Barack Obama and John Edwards just totally back off and let "poor little Hillary" get her chance.

Then too is the fact that your wife continues to underestimate the intelligence of the American voter with her double-talk on key issues. The idiot governor of New York just announced that he's dumping his licenses for illegals plan. Why? Because most Americans are concerned about terrorists, saw through Spitzer's stupidity right away and declared themselves against it right away (thank goodness that most Americans aren't liberals!) Instead of taking a stand against this insipid idea, your wife played it cautious. But presidents can't afford to be cautious, they need to make firm decisions or else the electorate loses faith in them. By trying to play both sides of the fence Hillary is showing more and more signs that she can't lead and that puts her at risk of standing for nothing, as well as everything, and then losing.
