Jerry Lewis Uses Gay "Slur"; Gay Mafia Grants A Pass

Let a top Black actor use a supposed gay "slur" and he gets consistently bashed by the liberal media (and fellow liberal actors) and eventually fired from his job (even after he apologized profusely). But when an old, white comedian does the same, all he has to do is say "sorry" and the liberal media says nary a word giving said "gay-basher" gets a pass. Then too, I'm sure it helps Jerry Lewis' case that he's has long been the spokesman for super-wealthy, liberal, self-interest group, Muscular Dystrophy Association:

“The Nutty Professor” Jerry Lewis yesterday apologized for making an Isaiah Washington-like gaffe the other night during his annual Labor Day charity telethon by using the same gay slur that had the “Grey’s Anatomy” doc fired.

Lewis, 81, asked to be forgiven for his “bad choice of words” after Neil Giuliano, President of Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) issued a statement calling “simply unacceptable” the comedian’s use of the word “faggot.”

The Muscular Dystrophy telethon titan, swaying about the Las Vegas stage during the 18th hour of the live telecast, began a goofy rant, introducing imaginary family members to the audience.

“Oh, your family has come to see you,” he said, speaking to the camera. “You remember Bart, your older son. Jesse, the illiterate (bleep).”

He seemed to catch his mistake and immediately said “No,” stopping himself before attempting to move on.

Yesterday, Lewis released a statement explaining that he was making “a joking comment to a member of my production team,” and apologized “to anyone who was offended.”
