Whoopi Goldberg Is The New Co-Host On "The View"

Great. An unfunny, liberal comedian who once had her white boyfriend at the time pose in blackface and big, red lips as a "joke" and said she'd leave the country if George Bush was elected President (she lied and stayed) gets the moderator spot on "The View":

Whoopi Goldberg will take over The View host role recently vacated by Rosie O'Donnell.

Goldberg will join exisitng co-hosts Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck for the show's 11th season.

"I have known Whoopi for years. She is brilliant, funny and irrepressible, and is an enormously popular and talented star," creator Barbara Walters says of Goldberg. "We are delighted that she is going to join the programme as our moderator. This is going to be a great new chapter for The View."

Cool, now Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the lone conservative on the show, can look forward to being bullied every day by the leftwing, two-head monster of Behar and Goldberg when she gets back from maternity leave in a few months.
