But most of us are actually way smarter than a woman who with the able assistance of the liberal media, has gotten by on looks all her life. So we know not to fall for her latest "woah is me" tour where everyone else gets the blame while she continues to be the "victim":
Yeah well, too bad for CBS viewers (what's left of them) "poor Katie" only has $15million a year of reasons to hold on to that job she's now "second-guessing". And too bad for "poor Katie" the American public just doesn't want its hardcore news to be delivered to them in a cute, snugly box labeled "Perky". So just admit that you failed, move on and let somebody with real skills do the job. Man or woman. As long as they can deliver the news and we can take them seriously while they do it.CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric says that she's not sure she would have made the move from NBC if she knew she'd be doing the type of show she is doing right now.
In a New York interview, Couric says that understands that viewers hate change and that they tried to change too many things in the first couple of months that she was there, but that she's not sure she would have taken the gig if she knew it would end up as the same traditional network news show. She says there are days she wishes she hadn't taken it. She even hints that if it doesn't turn out to be the job for her, "I'll do something else that's really exciting and fulfilling for me."
