Star Parker: Not Ready For Daytime TV

I watched "The View" yesterday because Star Parker was going to be a guest panelist. I'm a big fan of Ms. Parker and with Michael Moore scheduled to be on as a guest (promote his US healthcare-bashing flick "Sicko"), I figured it'd be nice to not only see a true conservative on "The View", but a person able and willing to butt heads with the notoriously leftwing Moore. However, while Ms. Parker certainly has the face for TV, halfway through the show it became clear that I was in for a letdown.

Granted, Ms. Parker was bullied at times by unfunny liberal comedian Joy Behar and the supposedly non-partisan Barbara Walters. But when she did get to speak Ms. Parker failed to accurately deliver her points, rambled on way too much and clearly was unprepared on how to combat liberals (and their Rosie O'Donnell talking points) with the clock on (after all, on TV time is literally money). Could've been a case of a deer caught in headlights, but to my knowledge this wasn't Ms. Parker's first time on TV. Maybe next time, before she goes on the idiot box, Ms. Parker might want to study some Ann Coulter tapes so she can learn how a conservative pundit should take on lunatic lefties, because yesterday she was a huge disappointment.
