Claim To Fame: High-school student and science enthusiast who started her own website with the sole goal of rebutting Al "The Mad Scientist" Gore and other global warming terrorists.

Why She's Person of the Week: While most high-school students could probably care less about global warming, this hasn't stopped Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" from being shown in many high schools across America (you know how liberals love to exploit the innocent, young and precocious members of our species). Yet, for Kristen Byrnes, upon recently seeing Gore's hypefest, enough quickly became enough. Bothered, amongst other things, by the sloppy science in the movie, Kristen created her own Web site for her Earth Science class and goes on to rip the global-warming-caused-by-man theory to shreds, even taking on Dr. James Hansen, noted "father of global warming".

Kristen's website looks at global warming “without financial and political bias.” As she states, “I will demonstrate that the Earth’s warming climate is a result of natural variance and that man-made changes in the warming climate in the last 40 years are negligible at best. I will insert pieces of the puzzle from new scientific studies that were not available or were ignored in previous global warming studies.

“I add a possible piece of the puzzle, nuclear weapons testing in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, that may have made a small contribution to cooling at that time.After reviewing numerous scientific studies and observing data, it is clear that the theory that “man-made increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide are causing global warming” is not likely.” Good stuff! Indeed, with a liberal media being completely duped by Al Gore and his limousine liberal pals in Hollywood, it's good to see that even a 16-year-old can see past the bullshit and get down to the facts.
