When Conservatives Act Like Liberals

Now that its been found out that Jill Carroll was coerced into making anti-American, pro- insurgent comments while being kept hostage, will conservatives like Debbie Schlussel admit that they got it wrong on Carroll and apologize?

You would think people would be smarter than to be so quick to judge/bash a hostage for statements made under the duress of their life being threatened, especially considering the fact that the same terrorists that Carroll seemed to be all-of-a-sudden supporting had just murdered her own translator.

Throw Cynthia McKinney In Jail!

(CBS/AP) Capitol Hill police have notified the federal prosecutor's office that they will seek an arrest warrant for Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Ga., next week, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. This comes after McKinney and a police officer scuffled on Wednesday when the congresswoman entered a House of Representatives office building unrecognized and refused to stop when asked, according to U.S. Capitol Police.

There were conflicting accounts about the incident Wednesday, a police official said.

One version said Cynthia McKinney, a Democrat who was first elected in 1992 and represents Atlanta's suburbs, struck the officer, the official said. The officer, who was not authorized to speak publicly about the incident, spoke on condition of anonymity. No charges were filed, police said. A House Democratic staffer told CBS News that this might not be the Congresswoman's first incident with the Capitol Hill Police.

It shouldn't take more than a minute to pull out your ID when a police officer helping to secure a federal building repeatedly makes the request to you solely due to your dumb refusal to wear an ID pin. But when you defy a simple task and instead choose to act like a bully, by huffing, puffing and than proceeding to attack said officer, you deserve to be locked up.

I don't care if you're a member of Congress.

Christopher Anderson's "Barbra: The Way She Is" reportedly reconstructs her sexual resume, that is apparently is so salacious that it would make Gene Simmons of Kiss blush.

Page Six has the details: 'In addition to exclusive accounts of Streisand's affairs with both Prince Charles and Princess Diana's doomed lover, Dodi Fayed, Anderson writes that her conquests include Warren Beatty, Ryan O'Neal, Steve McQueen, Kris Kristofferson, Don Johnson (whom friends dismissed as her "Goy Toy"), Jon Voight, Elliott Gould, Andre Agassi, Richard Gere, Omar Sharif, ice cream heir Richard Baskin, hairdresser-turned-studio chief Jon Peters, Liam Neeson, Peter Jennings, Tommy Smothers and "Robocop" Peter Weller.'

The book also points out that:
* Streisand harbors a deep fear of being assassinated, owing to her outspoken support for Israel. Around the time of the Six-Day War in 1967, Anderson writes, Streisand staged "A Happening in the Park" to thank her New York fans, but spent the concert weaving around the stage trying to make herself a more difficult, moving target for any would-be snipers.

Is it any wonder how Slick Willie had time to fulfill his presidential duties what with all the extracurriculur activities he had going on? And how about the fact that half the men Streisand is alleged to have slept with were married at the time?
