Michelle Malkin Gets Shut Down

I like Michelle Malkin and read her weblog daily, but I don't always agree with her political stances and nor am I going to always kiss her ass (like some in the conservative community do so willingly) just because her blog happens to be so popular.

For example, I haven't agreed with Malkin's recent posts supporting the reprinting of the Danish cartoons riduculing Mohammad. Yes, the muslim rioters are treacherous scumbags and hypocrites. But Malkin has been stoking the flames with her over-the-top zeal for reckless journalism posing as a movement for freedom-of-speech, all the while the violence continues and innocent lives continue to be lost.

So earlier today the cartoon rioters got a hold of Michelle's blog and took it down.

No surprise there and I'm glad it's back up now. But Michelle shouldn't act like she's shocked at the whole thing and neither should anyone else.

Question Of The Week #2

(Dem.) Carwell & (Rep.) Matalin don't talk politics at home.

Could you date (much less marry) someone who had a decidedly OPPOSITE political ideology than YOURS? Or does love conquer all . . . including politics?

Note: This QOTW was inspired by Rebecca's post on recent news of Lance Armstrong & Sheryl Crow possibly breaking up in-part b/c of Armstrong's love for George W. Bush.
