Fighting For Whom?

There are a lot of people on the extreme-right who like to belittle the anti-war movement. “Cowards!” they say, “We must support our allies at all costs”. Far be it from me to be some kind of expert on the going-ons in the Middle East. And to the war-mongers, from an aesthetic standpoint it may not matter at all. But how can the sight of innocent children being killed not make you stop for a second and just think that in the grand scheme of things, have we all lost sight to our responsibility to end what has always essentially been nothing but a political chess game between a few men with no souls?
