The "Book Of Daniel" Controversy

As if 9 years of the Leftist propaganda machine that was "The West Wing" wasn't enough, NBC will further display its contempt for conservatives and Republicans with "The Book of Daniel".

From WorldNetDaily.com:

A pro-family group has launched a protest campaign against a new NBC drama featuring a troubled, pill-popping Episcopal priest who is the father of a dysfunctional family.

"The Book of Daniel," written by a homosexual, is being promoted as the only show on television in which Jesus appears as a recurring character and the only network prime-time drama series with a regular male "gay" character, a 23-year-old Republican son, says the
American Family Association, which has an online petition.

Touted as the riskiest show of the year, it includes a wife who relies on mid-day martinis, a 16-year-old daughter who is a drug dealer and a 16-year-old adopted son who is having sex with the bishop's daughter. At the office, the priest's lesbian secretary is sleeping with his sister-in-law.

As WND reported earlier this month, the series debuts Jan. 6 with back-to-back episodes and will air regularly Friday nights at 9 p.m. The cast also includes Ellen Burstyn and Susanna Thompson. Comedienne Phyllis Diller plays a member of the congregation.

Is it any wonder more and more people are not only watching less TV, but switching to cable? NBC, a desperate network constantly being killed in ratings by the other major networks, has sunk to a new low by clearly deciding to become a non-cable version of MTV.

By blatantly expressing dysfunction within EVERY member of a family led by of all people, a priest, it is clear that this show is intended to be a testimony to the failure of Christianity. The destruction of the goals and ideals that Christ set for us, so that liberals can have a good laugh at His expense. So I am not surprised that this show was written by a homosexual. The acceptance of sexual deviance and the destruction of the traditional family is far more important to many homosexuals than examining a life better lived. Aided and abetted by liberals, who heaven forbid, should ever consider a choice that does not include indulging themselves.

Is it any wonder they hate Christ, who happened to have made the hardest choice of all?

Bottom line, "The Book Of Daniel" is nothing but utter bigotry.
